I always thought it was a great knee trembler to dance with a lovely lady too. But I always loved singing it in my 50's/60's band years ago for the old romantics dancing. And had the lead, and bass guitarist doing the harmonies with me. Bliss. I'm glad I was a teenager in the 60's. I never finished the gig with an uptempo song. Always a nice romantic slowy to send the mature aged couples out of the venue with a romantic frame of mind. It's always nice to see people enjoying themselves to the band music.
Oh! Good to see the young grooving ever so deep in that choice cut. Proving even more how versatile he, his message, and sound was. They can make a old song in a folksy even older manner and yet both modern and new. Does more than just justice! Well done! Wonder who brought it up to who & who decided that they should have a go at it.
Those harmonies--man oh man! Especially the ahhhh's during the middle. That was a beautiful thing. I'm old Beatles obsessive--have been since February '64-- and I'm always thrilled to see young people with an interest in them.
At my time of life its heart warming to see youngsters making real music! Well done kids, that was a lovely rendition of a song I first learnt about 45 years ago, and still enjoy playing today.
A simple song and a B-side from the early Beatles catalogue that is beautiful in its simplicity. Norman 'Hurricane' Smith (who worked at Abbey road as a producer and engineer on the Beatles recordings and later had a recording career himself) counted this as his favourite Beatles track.
dude I've been watching this boy covers and THIS harmony is literally something else in the most beautiful way. wow, all the vocals here give me shivers. so much softer, natural and warmer. more legato and easy. amazing
I love listening to you guys. Love the grins when you momentarily forget, is it this boy or that boy. I've been playing it this song for year's and I still do the same. LOL Beautiful. Love the Martin's.
hey this is seriously fucking beautiful. I hope you guys are really proud of this, oh my god lmao you killed it so hard and nailed the spirit of this song. I cannot express enough how much I loved this I LOVE THE BEATLESSS
I use to see the Beatles at lunch time sessions in the Cavern, John Lennon f ing & blinding when I was 13/14 how could these lads come up with classics like this, brilliant version, great memories, they mostly did cover versions back then, early 60’s . Brian. YNWA. Liverpool. UK.
Bryce I dig the harmonies and trio cover of this boy!
Thanks so much!!

Not simple if you consider 3-part vocal harmony that is quite hard to reproduce!
