The wind was cold and the weather was rainy.
Because the temperature was low, the rain turned to sleet and then to snow. Gentaro seemed to sense that it was snowing by spreading his hands.
It was cold, so the other gorillas ate breakfast early and went into their temporary rooms.

MOMOTARO & GENKI Family ( Momotaro Fam)
Father MOMOTARO ♂(2000/7/3)
He is hesitant in new situations and is a loner.
His father died before he was born, and he had never spent time with a silverback.
He had already turned into a silverback by the time he was 10 years old.
He is struggling with unfamiliar child-rearing.
MOMOTARO's father is BIJU.
MOMOTARO's mother is MOMOKO
Mother GENKI ♀ (1986/6/24)
She is 14 years older than Momotaro and has a role to support the whole family mentally.
She has had a tumultuous and eventful life.
She has returned to her birthplace, Kyoto City Zoo.
She had never been blessed with a baby but after meeting Momotaro,
she had two sons.
She is a very maternal female gorilla.
GENKI's father is MAKK.
GENKI's mother is HIROMI.
First son GENTARO, male (2011/12/21)
He was separated from his mother Genki soon after he was born.
Genki's milk production was not very good.
He was raised by his keeper for his first10 months.
Because of this, he is very fond of humans.
His face is so expressive, and everyone enjoys watching him.
Second son KINTARO ♂ (2018/12/19)
He is just very strong-willed and independent.
He has big eyes and long eyebrows.
The way he plays a lot with his brother Gentaro makes everyone smile.
We can't wait to see what kind of gorilla he'll become!

Gentaro est très intrigué, il a de belles expressions.
It was kinda nice seeing Gentaro by himself (not all lone) but by himself for a minute or 2 gives me a look into his future.. He will need some time to adjust being all alone, and so will the other’s in the troop Butttttttt it’s going to be okay❤❤

Я тожк так всегда пишу. Что он похож на Генки, кгда они пишут что он похож на Момотаро. А он совсем на него не похож И этот маленький жопастик ее Кинтаро, тоже похож на нее. А Гентаро мы скоро поженим .Ему уже невету подготовили. А что получится из этого время покажет.

京都市動物園内、早咲きの桜🌸が咲いてます。
梅で有名な北野天満宮は梅が今、満開です。
ゴリラ舎内の木々も花が咲き出すでしょう。🌼
来園者の数は増えてきますが、東側エントランスからですと入園には全く混みません。
正面エントランスはこれからの週末は入園に列が出来るでしょう。
ゲンタロウが独りで過ごす時間か増えてます。
サブグラウンドをそろそろ使用してみてもいいのでは？と個人的に思います。
一方で、完全に自立心が芽生えると、次の行き先が課題になります。
次の行き先、もしくは園内に新しいゴリラ舎を新たに建築なりプランがすでに出来てるなら問題ありません。
何も無いなら、自立心を早めるのは、、
モモタロウと喧嘩する可能性が出てきますからね。
難しいところです。
まだ、ゲンタロウの近い未来については何も発表されてません。
3月に、副園長が未来の動物園について講演されます。

What's crazy is the gorillas in the Bronx zoo can't come out when the temperature is 60 degrees or less. Yes it must be cold out it winter 🥶❄️.

I live in the state of Washington and we often times have the exact same weather as you do! It snowed here today too and late last evening! Nothing that really stuck but none the less snow 🌨️! We must be on the same latitude???? ❤🦍

They do put ointment on their hands, feet and chest, I have seen them do it in other videos and then they can check for wounds
