Thanks for the video. Gonna take my headlights off this weekend, the previous owner kinda botched new lenses and the old bulb housings together, but the lenses are not installed properly and moisture is able to enter the headlight units.. So I'm going to pull it all apart and reapply the sealant, then reinstall the headlights. Wish I could install these VLAND headlights but my car wouldn't pass the annual inspection here in the Netherlands 😢
I've heard stories from a lot of countries overseas with annual car inspections and I feel bad for all the car guys/girls that have to go through it... Good luck with the reinstall of the headlights!
@@ChristianMastrile yeah it sucks, I can even get fined/not pass the annual inspection if I install aftermarket HIDs or LEDs into the existing halogen projectors. But this won't keep me from trying the H11 LEDs soon lol. But car customization is very restricted here in western europe unfortunately

My check and turn light did not work … wiring harness that I receive in the package do not include the battery cable and resistor … any idea how can I do this to work ?

I've had mine since 2019, they work well, I should have kept the OEM for my 2012 ISF, if they are going for $1K used dang!!!😳 I sold mines back on Oahu for $500 reason was the inner black housing was fading and being that I don't park in the Garage outer Lens was fading. Only thing I lost was the self leveling after installation. There's a way to bypass the Self leveling and auto swiveling. Vland doesn't have the 3 led headlights on as low beam, like how the newer Lexus has. Useless high beam led. I don't even use the High Beam lights. Nice video.. From Guam 🇬🇺 I say Hafa Adai....
Already installed the new HC MotionsZ led tail lights today 1/1/2022 Going to be the 1st on Guam to be rocking them....🤙🏼

So what if the led burnt out. You have to replace the new projector ? Or just replace the led inside?
I think the important question is how is the light out put for the dip/full beam? You should of compared the stock headlight to the light out put of the VLand

What color fogs did you decide on? Im also rocking the vlands but I bought the yellow lense fogs and retrofitted projectors into them and the color offset is awesome. Reminds me alot of my 1IS back in the day

i believe it will but you do lose the AFS function, unfortunately after switching over to the Vlands

Disculpe instale las luces tal cual pero el afs off me parpadea a cada rato. Y aparte las luces de señal me funcionan mal muy rápido como si no las reconociera y aparte lo que va en el fusible siento que no entra por completo que puedo hacer ?

from the forums it looks like H&R spacers are a very popular option. Spec wise, i think it depends how aggressive you want your wheels to come out

Yup ran into that issue before. Then you either gotta roll/pull em or get a smaller spacer

i got a 2012 model is250 i installed vlands recently but my screen usually goes into dark mode whenever the sun goes away or whenever i go under a tunnel. now it’s just always on and doesn’t go into dark mode
Are you going to loose adaptive cornering light? The stocks have adaptive cornering lights, so I don't know about the new ones
My headlights didn't have adaptive cornering but you will lose it if you have it on your stocks

@Marco Romo it is but tbh it doesn’t flicker like that. It’s not a fault in the headlights it’s just part of the factory settings. You can turn it off apparently with Toyota techstream I haven’t gotten around to confirming that

Sick headlights... def looking into these... I have one question though. How’s the quality on them? Has the seals, has moisture/condensation got into them?? Or any other info on these you have would be good.
Quality on them is pretty good from my experience. No moisture/condensation has gotten in so far but the car is garage kept so not sure on other's experience for those who park outside

Got the Vland headlights installed and work great and much more light, but I encountered an issue that hopefully someone be it either Christian or anyone that has had similar issue and a fix for it. The DRL's flicker when turned on but stop flickering when headlights are turned on, turn headlights off and leave DRL's on and again flickering. Could really use a bit of help on this, oh its a 06 IS250. contacted Vland still waiting!
If i remember correctly (I could be wrong) but if you take it to Lexus they can use a program called Techstream to program it in a way to stop flickering. Hopefully someone can verify this
@@ChristianMastrile they use techstream and just turn the drl's off.
thats normal. the oem headlights has drl function where its just the high beams on a low volatage. the vlands are getting that same oem signal. you can disable the oem drl signal via lexus techstream software. Contact lexus or find a shop that has the software.
Do these headlights use bulbs ? One of my headlights keeps going out, so I need replacement bulbs ?

Shit looks clean. You really need to adjust the new headlights and make sure they aren't blinding other drivers - This is very important and often skipped step. It involves parking a certain distance from a wall with headlights on and measuring how high the light is and adjusting according to spec.
Can you provide a link for the steps on how to do this?

From my experience the light strip will stay on as long as the car is on. If you turn on the headlights and the car is off, the light strip will not turn on

Yup everything is included. Pretty much plug and play. Once installed everything should turn right on

Pretty much plug and play and no other wiring needed except for the ones provided. I do believe the wiring is what hooks up the daytime running lights which was pretty easy to do
Do your sidelight indicator lights work? I dont see them on in that video.
I'm not sure if they're supposed to turn on or if they're just reflectors. Just tried em last night and no lights came on. Not too sure if it's just mine or if they are all like that
@@ChristianMastrile hey bud. I just installed both headlights and taillights. I spoke with my seller from ebay...they said those are just headlight reflectors. Not sidelights. Sorry for the confusion.

Do your VLAND's have electronic height/vertical adjustment, like the original headlights? I really like them, but only if they support the auto levelling. They didn't have this feature previously, but looking at VLAND's website, it seems they do now, looking at the pictures.
Unfortunately mine doesn't have auto leveling. Saw a couple people stick with stocks because the AFS feature wasn't offered on the Vlands
@@ChristianMastrile I don't care that much about the AFS (the steering pivoting), but I do care about vertical levelling. Yes, AFS works fine on my stock HID's, but it's definitely something I live without. However, vertical levelling is essential IMO, because I don't want to go out with a screw driver to manually adjust the headlights EVERY time I carry something slightly heavy in the trunk, or when pulling a trailer (which I do quite often), to prevent blinding others on the road. Even with two adults on the back seat the car sits differently which means you would blind oncoming traffic without any adjustments. Even most inexpensive cars from 20 years ago have motorized levelling, either auto or manually controlled from a knob on the dash. I really wonder how people deal without levelling on these? How do you experience this?

Does the auto-leveling work on these Vlands? For Up and Down motion?
I know the AFS or corner-lights or whatever it's called won't work. I'm interested in up and down ajustments. Like if I put 500lb of cargo in the trunk or go over a bump, will the headlights lower down automatically like OEM?
Unfortunately not. You'll have to adjust it yourself
