Ysabel is having trauma flashbacks to when Dayton, Aurora and Breana came into the family. They were REQUIRED to call Kody 'Daddy'. They were reprimanded by Robyn when they did not. They were legally ripped away from their bio-dad. Ysabel knows that Kody and Robyn did this to them. Among the things she is worrying about is that she will be required to disown or be disowned by Kody when Christine and David marry. Childhood trauma. Love is divided not multiplied.
I do want to put some responsibility on Robin's first husband - he did give away custody of them. I have heard his side of the story, but even if the kids were "brain washed," giving up your kids is a move that I don't think most dad's would make. I also think he would have a good chance in family court seeing as she was publicly a polygamist. Im not saying she would lose custody, but he would look like a more stable parent than one that was running from the law. Not a Robin apologist, but there can be 2 villains in a story.
I think if polygamy was legalized (in a way that each wife and husband must sign the marriage certificate) then there would be no excuse for hiding in the shadows and each member would be "covered." I think in states where all assets must be divided evenly then each marital partner shall be considered in an equal share of the families' assets=5 partners (say one hus, 4 wives),each member would be considered as 1/5
@@eleanorbarsic8065 There are palimony and common-law relationship laws everywhere. It covers the division of assets and alimony. For child custody and child support, marital status of the bio-parents is irrelevant. The legal protections are there if you pursue them.
And Robyn's first husband was completely erased from her children's life when she photoshopped Kody into the picture of Robin with her kids when they were little.
Robyn has always seen everyone else as being just an accessory to her own life, not as other humans with their own dreams, feelings and lives. I see David and Christine having a good marriage. David lost his wife suddenly. Having been widowed suddenly myself, your perspective changes, having even more appreciation for every second together, not letting the petty stuff get in the way. You know what's important and what doesn't matter. Then Christine had her experience, now finally having someone truly love and appreciate her, so she'll most likely also appreciate what they have far more than most people.
Mostly just the children. If the have to pay back child support to the state, no matter when it is established - that alone will fix things. Fathers who choose to go with unregistered children to bleed the beast, would not be able to afford a falling out, if any child at any time could claim kindship and have it documented. That alone would fix most problems.
I don't want to denigrate polygamy in islam, but there you can only have more than one wife if the man is financially able to provide for all the wives equally. A man like kody would not be allowed to marry more than one wife. an old friend is a teacher at a boarding school for the very rich and they have many students from saudi Arabia and other muslim countries. this comes from one of the young men in her graduating class
@@lindaefraim5895I mean that’s not necessarily true. Income and family size are both used for eligibility of social services. In Utah the adults would have to make more than $18,348/mo to Not qualify for food benefits. Without TLC I doubt the Browns were making more than $220,188/yr before taxes with a lot of the things we know about that time. Utah has some horrible policies around this as well, they do the work requirement which often requires childcare usage which increases the poverty a family experiences. They also did not accept expanded Medicaid until 2020 and it looks like they’ve started to discuss reducing it as well. Social programs should be way more expansive and inclusive because healthcare and food are human rights. Polygamist men should be required to be on all birth certificates because they are also responsible for their kids and if they leave the kids and mom’s should have the same protections as the rest of us.
Remember when Kody told Isabel that he wasn't going to her surgery and he said I hope you don't become a bitter woman angry. That's why Isabel is distraught. He isn't even allowing her to feel bad that he wasn't going to a serious surgery for her.
My heart broke for Ysabel😢. The heartbreak and trauma these kids have gone through is cruel and will take years of therapy for them to get past. No child should ever have to go through what they have. imo
I feel for Ysabel for realizing that David is there for his kids while Kody was not. I feel like whine it comes to Kody and Robyn, EVERYONE makes an effort except Kody and Robyn.
Robin wants the financial gain from the sister wives only. She doesn’t want sister wives to help mother her children. She wants Kody to herself and the money too.
Gwen had an accident, it was before her wedding and she called Kody. He just didn't show up. Gwen was riding her bike and was hit by a car, Christine already lives in Utha. She then called Jennell, who dropped everything and came to hers, followed by Meri. The other mothers were more worried about Gwen than her own father. Why does he care so little about his children?
I had a colleague whose opinion was that polygamy should be legalised. She lived near Colorado City. She saw women living in poverty and having to rely on the state. They were not allowed to mention who the father of their children was and could potentially lose state benefits. They had no rights and were at the mercy of their husband's generosity. If polygamy was legalised, then these fathers could be held accountable.
@@lifeofriley8160polygamy that is practiced with the law looking the other way needs to be dealt with. Polygamy is illegal period. Take the husbands & jail them. It is abuse for women & children.
Meri brought a lot of money into the family fund via the TV show and her involvement in LuLaRoe, I think they kept her around for the income and to keep the show going
@@rachelg1555 Plus the family paid off all of Robyn’s debt when she married Cody. She didn’t work or bring anything into marriage. Herself, her three children, and debt. Robyn and Janell worked. Christine took care of children. Robyn tried to start the jewelry business, not sure how profitable that was.
Meri did hire movers for the bulk of her belongings. Robyn and Kody are incapable of moving. Robyn doesn't even pack. Meri, Christine and the boys were the power movers in the family. Kody is driving the last few items, like Christine having Kody load the snowblower and the last boxes from her garage. It's for the cameras.
Notes to Self 444 (Melanie and Corey) mentioned recently in her podcast that the current leadership of the AUB is advising men to not legally marry ANY of their wives to avoid legal issues down the road.
Did you see her mentioning the convo her father had with Kody after granting Meri her release? He could not give and lesser crud about Meri. It’s just cruel. Even if there’s no romantic love anymore, you could still have respect for a woman who gave him a child and spent 3 decades with.
The "M" word. Seriously?! Is Robyn 9? Robyn is trapped in her own childhood trauma and passing it on to her kids and Kody. She and Kody are raising emotionally fragile adults. Robyn isn't shy, her spirit is broken. Just how Kody likes his women. Kody and Robyn have been making their lives smaller and smaller for years. That's all about control. It's abuse.
I immediately flashed back to her saying her daughter needed to learn how to handle adjustments in life because the daughter was crying when Robyn was leaving on her honeymoon😂 NOW all of a sudden she protects these kids about moving
I wonder how Robyn felt when Kody said that a woman who takes her children away from the house where the husband lives (or kicks him out) removes the father from his relationship. It is HER fault for making it too hard to keep the relationship going. How did Robyn feel? That’s exactly what she did! I think Ysabel is thinking how Kody took those kids from their dad and he was cut off. Maybe that’s what she things a blended family is. Couple that with how she sees a real dad’s relationship with his kids in David. He’s there, interested, involved, Proactive. Everything Kody is not. My heart breaks for her
I moved in with my husband 2 weeks after I met him, we were together just over a year before marrying and he passed three weeks to the day before our 33 rd wedding anniversary. So right on Christine!
Meri's situation doesn't just apply to polygamy. So many women have families with men without marriage and claim they're "basically like married". NOPE. As an attorney and as someone suddenly widowed, if you aren't married, you are no more family than his other friends are. You are not entitled to anything and have no rights. It doesn't matter if you have children. Your children are just due SS Survivor's benefits if he paid in in cases of death and child support in case of a break-up, but as his "pretend wife", you are not family and have no rights at all if he dies or leaves you. Most women who play house learn that the hard way. Common law is no longer recognized as it used to be, and even in states where minimally recognized, the rights are not at all like a wife's rights at all and they're non-existent in cases of death. I've seen moms who lost their longterm boyfriends to death or break-up, lose everything. Even if they thought their "kind of in-laws" loved them and thought of them as "like a wife", that often changes after break-up or death and reality is, they aren't a wife. Women need to be smarter.
Some women are smarter.. some are not. It's easy to get caught up in life relationships without nets, but fall down once without a safety net, and I bet you don't do that ever again.
Isabel can’t say “I want/need my Dad.” She’s been conditioned to believe that her wants and needs aren’t important enough to say directly. None of them are allowed. They all have to tap dance around their own feelings because they know the answer is likely to be “that’s a you problem”
Still that’s between Ysabel and her dad Kody. If she want a relationship with him she have to be active in it but she knows her dad is only active as long as the moms are there to support him. Christine is done with that. The man child have to take responsibility for his own relationship and don’t blame the lack of it on the third part
@ she should be able to talk to her mother about missing her father. Christine is acting like Kody would. Their children being unhappy or missing a parent is not either of their problems. As long they (Kody and Christine) are happy. The kids can deal with it.
@@angelabarton5146Exactly. The kids are out at 18. Christine got her husband & the kids are the fallout of a messed up situation that all 5 Brown adults agreed to. They put a pretty face on polygamy & lied all along.
I think R is genuinely miserable being alone with Kody. She would love 3 days off in a row from him. She looks extremely depressed. I think she will divorce him when the kids grow up.
Robyn & Kody’s actions were based on $$ not duty. It’s sad OG3 lied about the family dynamics & inequality for years. Glad everyone parted ways now just give the OG3 the $$$ they’re due.
Polygamy will never be legalized in the United States because of our tax system. You cannot legally be married to three women and file taxes as a married person. That truly is the reason that it will never be legalized. Unfortunately, the women are the victims and will remain the victims.
I think Robyn did pressure him to keep Meri on the hook because it’s what she wanted. But Kody is totally throwing Robyn under the bus. On one hand “No one can tell me what to do. I am a man of my own mind” and on the other hand “Robyn made me do it.” He refused to take responsibility for his own action that caused the failures. And Meri DID know what Kody said about not feeling like he was married to her. She heard it through the show (yes, delayed) but still chose to stay after that. I think they are all doing things to keep the show afloat. Christine is more so than others (imho). But I think they are all trying to milk this show for all it’s worth because the end is near.
I love watching your feedback, so I feel like I've seen the show without being annoyed by Cody's blatant narcissism by actually watching it. Love you guys!
It’s very frustrating to hear Robyn say mist of the family wouldn’t accept her and her kids into the family, yet Meri did and yet she’s not invited to spend time with the kids. Robyn is just manipulating and manuvering her way into the situations.
Not just Meri, all of them welcomed her and her kids with opened arms. Robyn and her kids were always favored from day one from Kody and put on a pedestal The whole family went out of their way for Robyn and she has never lifted a finger to help anyone else out.
It’s definitely going to be strange to have him around all the time. I also think truly has been so used to her and her mom being alone together as she is the youngest that David coming in is a hard transition.
Breadcrumbs = access to Meris money!I'm so glad you both see what is baffling to alot of us w/this 12:32 religion! And you see Kody and Robyn for who they are!
I don’t believe for a second that Robyn ever wanted sister wives but she just wanted someone to take of her and with all the worker bee’s Kody had she thought they would just fall in line & love with her…when they didn’t do that she set her sites to be the legal wife 😢
I'm going to miss "Sister Wives". I guess I can always watch the old ones. My two favorite episodes are in season 2. The "Free range Browns" when they go to Kody's parent's ranch, and Mykelti falls off the horse. And Robyn was like and "Y for Wyoming". And then the Christmas episode "Brown family decision".
Hi guys ❤ I saw Sam on a Court TV live, discussing a cult case that was happening this week. Congratulations Sam! You're going places. So exciting. As for Sister Wives it's so good to always hear both of your points of view. Love you both
Dayton also changed his name from David. I searched David Jessop. There was an article published by The Sun (I believe) about 4 years ago that talks about it.
Think about it the 4 wives all had homes in their own names then Kodi had all of them sell those homes and give the money to them for Robin's house in Flagstaff.
I don’t think we really got the real story of their early life as 3 wives and 1 husband. I know they lived on one single wide together but there were YEARS where Janelle lived on her own with her kids. She makes it sound like Christine was there for it all, but she wasn’t. Janelle was alone with multiple kids for years. Then they convinced her to come to Lehi and buy the polygamist house. So, I wish they would be real and honest. Christine also worked a lot at night. And those years in Lehi, Kody said he went and said goodnight and good morning to every wife. So why couldn’t he tuck all the kids in bed, too? The story doesn’t line up. I feel they really scripted what they wanted people to see and not actual reality
Janelle still took her kids to Christine when she lived separately. I can't remember where I heard that, if it was in there book or if it was in an interview but I remember it was a fact that Janelle didn't dispute. She might have been the one to say it? I wish I could remember exactly where I heard it.
They didn't like in a Mobile Home. Have you watched since the beginning? They lived in a real split level house that was sectioned off for each wife's family. Janelle & Meri worked full-time and Christine stayed home to raise the kids. Janelle did not live on her own. They didn't live separately until they moved to Las Vegas. You need to go back to the beginning instead of listening to rumors etc, and making assumptions.
Melanie from "Notes to Self 444" filed for divorce from her spiritual husband 25 years ago. She won child support and a third of the remaining assets. She had a great lawyer.
Polygamy should never, ever be legalized. It injures women in more ways than the potential financial devastation when they leave. Even when they are married, there is no particular guarantee of being financially provided for, both because income is split in so many ways, and because women have little if any opportunity to know what is happening with any money that is coming in. I would expect this to be the case with non-religious polygamy as well. Then there is the devaluation of people and the stripping away of basic human rights. In the case of the FLDS, even the right to chose who to spend your life with and the expectation of a lifelong commitment are taken away. The authoritarian underpinnings of polygamy leave everyone open to all manner of abuses. This system was devised by a lying, criminal sociopath. The rot is to the core. Girls might as well be property. Boys are in the way and have to be ejected. It throws off the personal value of every child and most of the adults -- and sometimes throws it completely away. The indoctrination it takes to make people accept polygamous rules even messes with people's right to think their own thoughts. The financial injustice actually might be the easiest thing for the law to deal with regarding the myriad injures caused by polygamy. Enforcing rights of verbal contracts is a massive headache, but legalizing polygamy is still not a sane solution. Polygamy is barely a step up from maintaining that enslaving people is a valid option within a humane society, but people did accept slavery and argue for it until the bloody end. I recoiled from the possibility that this show might make people think polygamy was acceptable. Ho hum, just an option. That was why I never watched it until I heard it was blowing up, that people were seeing some of the consequences. Thank goodness at least a polygamous social structure has always been seen as the crime it is.
I waited for Ariella to say, well, can’t you just date???? Things were so different in Meri and Janelle’s cases. Far less anger and accusations. Kody realized it wasn’t going to play to his advantage with the viewers.
I feel like if you look into the contract that they had with the sister wives show. I think they ended up all staying longer and faking a lot of it. Because honestly, there’s hardly any video these shows are short and they’re showing the same little clips 2 to 3 times in the show. It feels like there’s a lot of acting going on now maybe not in the beginning. That they are rehashing things just to make a show like they’re trying to squeeze as much out as they can but still not tell the whole story. I feel like it’s just acting. And I also feel like Cody said he was going to, make the women want to leave that he would never do that so he would say mean things. Also kody hints about his temper. Out of all of them I feel like Meri is the only one that was really serious about her religion and Janelle maybe the second.
I always thought Kody and Robin were stringing Meri along. Janelle and Christine saw this happening . That was why Christine left as quick as she did because she wasnt going to allow Kody and Robin to do to her as they did to Meri. I am glad Meri is getting away from all those mind games from Kody and Robin
The issue isn't legalizing polygamy. The issue is splitting assets after a divorce or death. If the husband is in a legal marriage with 4 women, what portion is each spouse entitled to? Is the husband solely responsible for alimony and child support or is the husband and all the remaining wives responsible for alimony and child support? Robyn joined the Browns after at least 16 years following Kody's spiritual marriage to Christine. Does she become an equal shareholder at that point when she's contributed the least financially? Would every wife married 10 or years to the husband be entitled to 50% of his social security? Unless his social security contribution increases, the rest of social security recipients would be responsible. Bigamy laws are supposed to protect against fraud and financial abuse. It isn't illegal to live as partners without a legal marriage. If the man controls every aspect of the couple's life, that won't change with a legal marriage. The man would never agree. A polygamist man can still arrange for all assets to be split equally, or carry life insurance policies on himself for each spouse if he wants to fairly divide assets. Nothing today stops polygamists from agreeing on a partnership structure or corporate structure to hold assets among themselves to ensure there is a fair distribution of assets. And parents today - married or not - must still be responsible for the support of their biological children. All the Browns have demonstrated on this show is that they can make money on reality TV they never could have amassed on their own without the show, and Kody is still being unfair.
I thought the severance pay was in reference to Janelle wanting her just due. Make no mistake Meri, kody and Robyn are playing ball with one another. Meri is still probably giving k and R money she said she wasn’t worried about anything kody would be fair so that Janelle would relax and lay low so it could be taken, Meri is just as greedy as k and r
The three wives are all well off - just look at their homes in Vegas and Flagstaff. Meri had a second home in Parawan and don’t get me started on Janelle. She wanted to live in a RV and then moved into an apartment not because she was hurting but because she was waiting to build on Coyote Pass. She claimed she had “nothing” yet she turns around and buys a HUGE plot of land in NC. These women have access to money that we know nothing about. They have never been a middle class family. They do not know the meaning of poverty.
You have to give them time to adjust they grew up in a cult David seems like an honest and sincere man, I know it’s a show but I feel he will prove himself
Also hearing ysabel say that made me wonder if Cody was going to say. Since this is your new dad I don't want to be yours... I just see how he acts and makes me worried he will do that
Ysabel was also a witness to what Kody and Robyn did to tear Robyn's bio kids away from their father. That was super traumatic for all the kids and she may wonder if that is what normally happens when there is a divorce. She has no other experience to tell her that was NOT normal or usual.
I believe that if they made polygamy legal- most men wouldn’t enter into it because they would not want the financial obligation. It is why so many men choose to just live with women rather than marry them. I wonder if women would be less likely to enter into it if it were legal UNLESS the men married them. Then men could no longer use that its illegal to persuade women. I believe the answer to protect women and children is to make it legal
Without a crystal ball with Katie, joy is another TH-cam content creator however, she has inside connections to the polygamy world to Christine's aunt, who is ex and advocate AU. B and. Inside connections To robin's ex husband's family!
I’m afraid that if they legalized all plural marriage, then it would incentivize the first wife the most because she would get the biggest share of the family assets. The pie would get smaller each time someone leaves. And I think probably in churches like the FLDS the prophet still wouldn’t allow it so there wouldn’t be any more legal marriages than there are already. I think the law needs to adjust for proving that if you lived with someone long enough, you are in a civil marriage, even if you didn’t get the certificate, and that would allow the women to have legal rights, no matter how things turned out in the end in terms of who leaves first and what assets have been in each wife’s name or none of their names or in all of their names, if that makes sense.
I agree. I was thinking if they changed/strengthened the laws around common law marriages they could provide a structure to protect these women and their assets.
Christine is the only one who has never been legally married and legally divorced. They never talk about Janelle marrying and divorcing Meris brother before she was with Kody. And they never talk about the time Janelle left Kody for 5 years before they had Savanna. So for 5 years it was just christine and meri.
I think Robyn has been abused by Kody and is severely controlled by him. I believe her wanting the other wives to stay so she isn't alone in her abuse. I honestly believe everything Robyn does is survival techniques, I think k Kody is much more abusive than any of us know
I just thought Robyn was being dramatic about telling the kids that Meri was leaving. As I said on another contributor’s podcast that I seriously doubt the younger children will be scarred because of losing Meri. Kids don’t really worry about this unless it is a biological parent or someone they are extremely close too. Plus you can’t shield kids from every sadness or disappointment.
I agree, Meri called Robyn out on one of the episodes and said that Robyn never calls her or texts, never sees Meri except when they have to film together and she never invited Meri over for Easter, knowing she was all alone. Robyn doesn't care about Meri, she was just using her for her money.
I know this isn’t about this video but in the last one there was a picture of Sam in Chile with what looked like a wedding ring on his hand. Since you guys weren’t even dating yet I was just wondering if you could explain what that ring was in the next video!!! Thank you guys, love y’all!!!
I don’t think making polygamy legal is the answer, but I do think some other legislation around financial protections for former polygamist wives is what’s needed.
I feel like now that Kody has decided not to build on coyote pass, Robyn and Kody bought this new house that’s a forever house and invested a TON of family money into it and I think they will just give the land to the wives as their true “severance”.
I doubt Kody and Robyn would give them anything. They're both selfish narcissists that only care about themselves. They've used the women financially for years.
If Kody gave Janelle & Meri the profits from the property & that was the end of this farce it would be a decent end. All 3 women agreed to the lifestyle.
There's making a joke and genuinely laughing, and making a joke and underneath there's hurt. Meri had tears in her eyes when she asked for the severance package and a sister wife should console her or hug her. Robyn laughed at Meri which is sad...
Those kids are in a bubble. Robyn really doesn't want them around the other kids And Robin never wanted any of the other wives taking care of her kids Christine made a big deal about that she was very offended.
When Robyn joined the family, Christine had a newborn & other kids to watch. Why feel offended that Robyn was not including her 3 kids. How much child watching did she need?
Legalizing polygamy would definitely help to protect the women. However, the men would simply get around it by not legally marrying anyone. The law would also have to cover common law familial relationships/marriages that cover communal assets. Right now women can at least sue for child support. Legalizing polygamy may help some women and children but what I’ve witnessed is that predators are going to exist regardless of laws and when there is religious indoctrination it’s much easier for those predators to act with impunity.
Im so sad for Ysabel that she is having to learn on camera that just because you love someone, that doesnt mean your love and commitment will be reciprocated, even in the case of your own parent. Kody is cruel and awful, until he changes his heart, it might be easier for Ysabel's heart to move forward in life without a relationship with her father. Otherwise, i expect she will feel a lot of disappointment and resentment in her relationship with Kody for the rest of her life.
I know she's a great cook. (I like her Alfredo lasagna recipe. But she will probably have to cook every meal for David and Truely. I kept my checking account, good thing, I was afraid to ask my ex for money.
MY NOVEL: Legalizing polygamy would likely have both positive and negative effects. However, one potential benefit could be increased accountability for husbands. For example, groups like The Order currently lie to children about their fathers and falsify names on birth certificates to avoid legal repercussions. If polygamy were legal, it would eliminate the excuse of circumventing the law and prevent these men from portraying themselves as martyrs 'for the cause.' Legal recognition might also incentivize groups to wait until women are 18 before entering into marriage, as legality would require stricter adherence to age requirements. To complement the legalization of polygamy, it would be crucial to strengthen investigations into underage marriage and fraud-such as falsely listing fathers on birth certificates to claim state welfare benefits. Additionally, implementing policies like property taxes, marriage license fees, and income tax adjustments for multiple spouses could create revenue to fund law enforcement efforts. This income could support targeted investigations into underage marriages and fraud, reinforcing the intention behind legalizing polygamy and reducing unintended consequences. With proper oversight and enforcement, legalization could bring greater transparency and accountability while addressing some of the abuses seen in current practices.
I personally feel that throughout the years of this show they have made it common knowledge that assets are community assets. Is Kody & Robyn going to try & say now TLC made them say it.

Cost to taxpayers with welfare, food stamps and Medicaid is astronomical. Needs to be cracked down on.
@@lifeofriley8160polygamy that is practiced with the law looking the other way needs to be dealt with. Polygamy is illegal period. Take the husbands & jail them. It is abuse for women & children.
Because Mary was married to Kody for over 10 years before they divorced, she is legally entitled to half his Social Security, if nothing else.
My grandfather used to say. “He wants his Kate and Edith too.”
Meri brought a lot of money into the family fund via the TV show and her involvement in LuLaRoe, I think they kept her around for the income and to keep the show going
Robyn brings nothing to the family (monetarily)
@@rachelg1555
Plus the family paid off all of Robyn’s debt when she married Cody. She didn’t work or bring anything into marriage. Herself, her three children, and debt. Robyn and Janell worked. Christine took care of children.
Robyn tried to start the jewelry business, not sure how profitable that was.
And they are still trying to play her
Meri did hire movers for the bulk of her belongings.
@@dash-x Yes and totally agree.
He’s there, interested, involved,
Proactive. Everything Kody is not. My heart breaks for her
Robyn doesn't feel guilt about anything she's done because she has no conscience.
I moved in with my husband 2 weeks after I met him, we were together just over a year before marrying and he passed three weeks to the day before our 33 rd wedding anniversary.
So right on Christine!
Wow. When you know it's right. My condolences on his passing.
Robyn acted like they had to tell the kids Meri was dying.
They don't call her or visit socially. There was no reason for Meri to go to the nest to speak to the Browns.
Filming for TLC money.
R and K did nor want to give up Meri’s money
Robin’s motivation to keep other wives around is 💵.
Girls need to know more about contracts, property rules, the finances of marriage and divorce. They need to learn in school.
Polygamy will never be legalized in the United States because of our tax system. You cannot legally be married to three women and file taxes as a married person. That truly is the reason that it will never be legalized. Unfortunately, the women are the victims and will remain the victims.
This show has become a walking "audit me" request.
I got so mad when kidy said - well i think MERI should be the one to tell the kids....like shes the one who's yearing the family apart.😡🤬
Meri still has access to his social security if he dies. She was married to him for over 10 years. He probably hasn't worked enough to qualify for it.
If Kody worked under the table, not a lot of social security. Meri will earn more than him.
I like your reviews. They are right to the point.
FYI: Maddie and Caleb lived together before marriage. Janelle was ok with it. Kody was bent out of shape.
I love watching your feedback, so I feel like I've seen the show without being annoyed by Cody's blatant narcissism by actually watching it. Love you guys!
Thank you! 😊
I waited for Kody to say, ‘Meri, why so soon…… my bank account is barely cold!!!!🤢
Twitterpaited IS DEFINITELY a word!❤😊lol springtime is infested w it!
All about money. This has been going on for the entirety of Robyns existence.
@ I know they all did. It’s just so irritating Robyn says she loves Meri yet does nothing for her.
I think Robyn’s kids are seeing how little they have seen Janelle and Christine and they know that means that will happen with Meri too
I'm going to miss "Sister Wives".
@natashaa43
She was legally married to him
@@Fuzzyedgz No she wasn't.
@cathywithac ok, thanks for clarification!
Perfectly said, “we only keep the ratings if we say stupid things” and that’s exactly what Kody is doing….especially when Meri tells them she’s moving
Aww ❤ the picture of your family makes me smile! Thank you for sharing! I can see the love.
Like the great Mel Horowitz taught us: “ *You divorce wives. NOT children* !”
ok, also meant to add that A) melissa your hair color is beautiful! and B) your new fam photo is so lovely! you guys are all radiant. ✨
Robyn and Kody are just getting weirder, they drank the kool-aid.
This is BS all the exses need to get lawyers.
I agree - I think Robin wanted to tell the kids without anyone else there so she could control the narrative 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
I waited for Ariella to say, well, can’t you just date???? Things were so different in Meri and Janelle’s cases. Far less anger and accusations. Kody realized it wasn’t going to play to his advantage with the viewers.
He wants her money and so does Robyn. Men would not get involved in polygamy if all their wives had rights
I just wanted to give Ysabel a huge hug this episode.
Why the flashback to Meri moving when she already moved? Christine gets on my nerves. I doubt her new marriage will last long. She's on the rebound.
Right go Meri go we say what the heck took so long
The three wives are all well off - just look at their homes in Vegas and Flagstaff.
The money comes from the show. Duh. That’s hardly a secret. TV money is HUUUUGE
You have to give them time to adjust they grew up in a cult David seems like an honest and sincere man, I know it’s a show but I feel he will prove himself
Also hearing ysabel say that made me wonder if Cody was going to say. Since this is your new dad I don't want to be yours... I just see how he acts and makes me worried he will do that
Always appreciate your perspectives. Side note, great to see Sam on Court TV with Vinnie!
Kody and Robyn want Meri to stay because of her income.
I have had a soft spot for Ysabel since her operation. That poor girl has been threw enough.
Robyn just wants merri money and resources! She doez not have a job other than filming
They all make a fortune from filming. Individually
Without a crystal ball with Katie, joy is another TH-cam content creator however, she has inside connections to the polygamy world to Christine's aunt, who is ex and advocate
AU. B and. Inside connections To robin's ex husband's family!
It would definitely cause more problems in every possible way to legalize polygamy.
No I don't think legalization of Polygamy would help.
I think Robyn has been abused by Kody and is severely controlled by him. I believe her wanting the other wives to stay so she isn't alone in her abuse. I honestly believe everything Robyn does is survival techniques, I think k Kody is much more abusive than any of us know
Don't like Robyn but no woman deserves Kody. He is full of rage. Take the 5 dependents & get out.
Kody is a complete jerk.
Kody asked meri why so soon and after to the producers he says he doesn't speak from the heart to meri and he was glad she was moving lol
It was a ring Sam purchased in Chile just for fun but nothing to do with marriage. 🙂
One reason robin maybe didn’t want meri to have visited her kids is because the other grown up children have said publicly that meri was abusive
Wow love this channel!!!!
Robin wouldn't let her take the kids overnight. She didn’t ask Christine for help and paid a nanny.
There's making a joke and genuinely laughing, and making a joke and underneath there's hurt. Meri had tears in her eyes when she asked for the severance package and a sister wife should console her or hug her. Robyn laughed at Meri which is sad...
What do you think meri was to the kids? Mom? Mother Meri? Dad's friend? Aunt?
Those kids are in a bubble. Robyn really doesn't want them around the other kids And Robin never wanted any of the other wives taking care of her kids Christine made a big deal about that she was very offended.
When Robyn joined the family, Christine had a newborn & other kids to watch. Why feel offended that Robyn was not including her 3 kids. How much child watching did she need?
It's too bad they didn't stay in Utah as they have palimony laws in place in civil court.

No legal polygamy. It's 2024 this religious violation of a Federal law needs to have these men in jail.
❓Do you know that Christine is in the process of demanding a paternity test from Cody and suing him for past child support?
Im so sad for Ysabel that she is having to learn on camera that just because you love someone, that doesnt mean your love and commitment will be reciprocated, even in the case of your own parent. Kody is cruel and awful, until he changes his heart, it might be easier for Ysabel's heart to move forward in life without a relationship with her father. Otherwise, i expect she will feel a lot of disappointment and resentment in her relationship with Kody for the rest of her life.
👍
I know she's a great cook. (I like her Alfredo lasagna recipe. But she will probably have to cook every meal for David and Truely. I kept my checking account, good thing, I was afraid to ask my ex for money.
MY NOVEL: Legalizing polygamy would likely have both positive and negative effects. However, one potential benefit could be increased accountability for husbands. For example, groups like The Order currently lie to children about their fathers and falsify names on birth certificates to avoid legal repercussions. If polygamy were legal, it would eliminate the excuse of circumventing the law and prevent these men from portraying themselves as martyrs 'for the cause.'
Legal recognition might also incentivize groups to wait until women are 18 before entering into marriage, as legality would require stricter adherence to age requirements.
