Journey Across the Philippines ep. 2 Chocolate Hills, a Floating Dinner Cruise and A Wizard Tower!?

Ahoy! In today's adventure, Tim takes a ferry from Cebu to the islands of Bohol and Panglao! A small, mainly agricultural province, Bohol hosts a myriad of natural wonders. Taking a Countryside Day Tour with any outfit is a worthwhile use of one day on the island- a guided quick-pass to all the highlights of Bohol! I'd recommend doing the extra-cost, optional side adventures most tours offer.
On this episode, see the world famous Chocolate Hills up close on an ATV ride, visit the Tarsier Sanctuary where the world's smallest primate naps, and the Loboc River Cruise. PLUS a unique Airbnb conveniently located 5 minutes by foot to Momo Beach, a locals only hidden gem- a white sand beach out of a postcard.
The Momo Village Guesthouse offers rustic yet unique accommodations at the top of an ivory and rust tower, with 360 degree views of Panglao's island beaches, villages and forests. It also offers... traditional bathroom facilities like the Tabo (bucket and dipper) in place of shower, no a/c, and no screens on the windows with plenty of insect visitors as a result. Lack of wifi was the least of my concern! Yet, it had some charm and undeniable views, in close proximity to my favorite beach in the Philippines.
