  • Ahoy! Welcome back to Adventure Sena. Today's episode brings Tim to the mystical island of Siquijor, known for witches and healers, and an eerie glow at night. Nicknamed Isla del Fuego by the Spanish colonials, rumors are that the island appears ablaze at night, from the fireflies- or the tree burning operations that once decimated the ecosystem here. But the island has recovered beautifully, and is an idyllic slice of paradise straight out of a fairy tale.
We enjoy an ecotourism day tour across the island, featuring a public market, hiking, a mountain peak, an ancient and colossal balete tree, an underground river, a hidden beach, and to cap things off, sunset glamping at a tropical beach bar! This is an action-packed adventure you will surely enjoy, and I can't recommend Siquijor enough for fellow travelers!

Awesome video, although in my humble opinion you could have given the food a much higher rating, lol. No offense, buddy.

Fair enough mate! I’m honestly a bit of a picky eater so I may judge on the harsh side, I’ll admit. The sea cucumber really does taste like nice sweet fish, but I have trouble with chewy textures so it wasn’t for me 🍣 but the Bangus I had honestly was very good and could have scored better
