      @Get Ass
      I don't like to make comparisons about who is second third or fourth because there are different types of intelligence.
      Monkeys have advancedmotor intelligence and can use tools.
      Parrots and crows have verbal intelligence and can speak
      Octopi have logical intelligence and solve puzzles
      Dogs have emotional intelligence and can understand abstract concepts
      Dolphins have advanced communication and surrounding awareness abilities
      Elephants have self awareness, motor skills and the best memory
      It too hard to compare them.

    I really feel like some elephants are only violent toward people due to trauma associated with people. Some elephants attack people on sight because a human hunter killed one of their brethren. They’re such empathetic animals that feel strongly. Some elephants bond strongly with humans who treat them with kindness.

    • @Jay_Force_One
      @Jay_Force_One ปีที่แล้ว +5

      No. People got to stop with this “it’s because of past trauma”. Wild Animals are just defensive and territorial. It’s built in. It’s called survival instinct. You can’t survive in the wild without it, nature doesn’t care about feelings. Elephants are in general very territorial and defense towards any animal in nature. They’re very protective of their packs and their young.
      However, like pretty much most animals. With exposure, they can become comfortable with humans. Once they learn it’s not a territory or survival thing, they will let their guard down.

      @James-kv6kb ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @pierre5014
      @pierre5014 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@maanvol In French "gai" means cheerful, joyful. It was a very used word. Since by influence of English language people use the word "gay" to refer to homosexual (especially boy). The adjective "gai" (substantive : "gaieté", cheerfulness) is now used with caution because we pronounce "gay" like "gai" [gε]. I did not really know the first meaning of "gay" in English. it means pretty much "gai" in French.

    This is terrible, those two elephants are two different species of elephants and they shouldn't be housed together. The African elephant (with tusks) is much rougher in behavior and tougher in frame than the Asian elephant (the tuskless elephant). What is simple play for the African elephant can be a brutal beating causing injury on the Asian elephant. This is why we should NOT have zoos.

    Terrible environment!! These world's largest land mammals belong to the wild, NOT in your zoo!!!!

      AzerGhost16: According to your statement all wild elephants should be captive in zoos? Ridiculous argument my friend. Elephants in captivity is not solution. Regarding poaching leave it to Africa and support their fight against poachers instead. (sorry for my English, its not my native language).

    Throw the tire around? What the heck man. Why are we forcing animals to do things so unnatural, perform stupid meaningless tricks and games for the sake of "an experiment" same thing goes for circuses.
