Korn quite literally helped me keep myself alive. All their pain and massive rhythmic fuckery truely helped me sleep soundly. They're only the second band I ordered hierarchy after Led Zep. But Korn keep me off my bad self and gave me more life than I could ever hope as a boy. I'm not 28 years old.

Jonathan's voice was so damn powerful on this album. His voice changed drastically during the Life is Peachy tour, and I think he was getting used to it on Follow the Leader, but he had mastered it and found a bigger and more powerful range on Issues.
Korn is probably the heaviest band ever. Not talking about shredding or thrash, I'm saying pure heavy. These guys are the heavy and The Serenity of Suffering really captured that old school heavy. Two seven string guitars and a five string bass, it's not overly distorted or muddled, but the heavy riffs they produce are ridiculous.

at 3:00 minute mark, the best breakdown of all time ensues. I dont know why its my favorite because of its simplicity but personally, I've always experienced a very deep feeling when I heard it.
In my opinion, this is their best song next to Blind; it's got EVERYTHING: Heavy funky riffs/melodies, a tense bridge, a heavy breakdown, lyrics that fall in line with their theming, JD's vocal range, and every instrument is mixed just right.

Jonathan's voice was so damn powerful on this album. His voice changed drastically during the Life is Peachy tour, and I think he was getting used to it on Follow the Leader, but he had mastered it and found a bigger and more powerful range on Issues.

Korn is probably the heaviest band ever. Not talking about shredding or thrash, I'm saying pure heavy. These guys are the heavy and The Serenity of Suffering really captured that old school heavy. Two seven string guitars and a five string bass, it's not overly distorted or muddled, but the heavy riffs they produce are ridiculous.
