I go through CD baby for my distribution and albums would you still recommend tiktok some of my videos have grown quite a bit but with instagram it's tough I have met quite a few people but it's really hard through instagram to grow. Any suggestions for growth on instagram? My youtube channel is growing but instagram is the toughest one to grow. It's almost like it's flatlined in a way where tiktok and youtube are soo much easier to use. Your advices are really great espencially the one with building your own brand as a producer. There are a lot producers on youtube, which make really crazy beats, but don't build up something around their producer names. Maybe thats one critical point for the most of them.

Beats will get stolen, samples will get stolen, it’s just a matter of doing what you can to prevent if possible. Think of it like this: if you have $1M, are you gonna spend more time figuring out how to save a couple bucks every day or would you spend more time pulling in $100k at a time? Basically it’s gonna happen but it’s kinda rare that it’s ever a time that matters so put your focus into how to get better at what you’re doing

You can put em on Spotify if you want! Content ID isn’t always worth but it’s up to you. I don’t worry about ppl stealing or doing too much w their leases tho bc of how much work it takes. Ppl gonna steal either way so put more focus into more sales
