Since I moved to Houston from London 3 years ago I was looking to go fishing. I didnt know anywhere to go or what to catch - nothing. I found your channel. It changed my life kinda. Im now catching everything. On the jetties, piers and beaches. And now going to buy a micro boat! The wife and my 8 month old boy comes sometimes and she likes fishing but mainly eating them! Am back in London now but be back for the Bull Red run. Just wanted to say thanks man. Appreciated!
ive been watching alot of fishing vids lately and Im feeling like starting to fish myself, im pretty close to the sea, walking distance so i might start to fish this hobby seems interesting af and its like so calm...
Hey Cooper, that was an awesome and educational video ma man. Instead of haulin a pit, I'll take my mini shovel, dry sticks, wood chips, and Kindle, oh, and my lighter. Great vid, fantastic idea. Thanks brother! Tight lines never stop!
Man, your channel inspired me to take up fishing as a hobby. I've been trying a few of your techniques but the species are way different here in South Africa. Keep up the dank videos mydude.
New subscriber, Love the vids. Heading to Port A tomorrow morning for some fishing for the weekend. I’ve learned allot for my trip from your vids. Great job bro.
I've noticed with bigger trout you have to baby them a lot . Once you have them on Loosen the drag and just play them more than you think and a lot of the time you won't lose them . I had the same problem I kept losing all the big fish lol just a little tip that might help man
We had one at my friends house in the woods that we used an old tunnel to a beaver hut that was taken out from a flood. The thing would suck in air from 6ft down the hill and you could actually hear it when you got next to the air inlet. Produced some serious flames but cooked stuff really quick. Made quite a few “hobo” meals on it in tinfoil haha
Great vid. May have horsed that one trout a little too hard. The next big bite, just keep it taught apply little pressure. Give her a chance to turn and set the hook further in. Too much pressure right away keeps the fish pointed at you and if not a good hook set, pulls away much easier. Good luck with it.
Cool looks you survived in you own backyard that is the start. Watch some of catch and cook from Andy’s fishing (Australia) to know why he has 100k+ subscribers.
I work for a cast iron company that makes cast iron pipe and custom castings. I could get you a huge cast iron skillet made! Then maybe a video of a massive fish catch and cook?
It's basically summer here in California to add to that opening statement. Kinda odd even here, should be another month or four for this stuff. Keep em bitin'.
bro u should get the vr50 spinning reel and try it out ... i cant afford it its out of my league bt maybe you can .... it looks great bt its driffrent when ur out there fishing ....great video by the way and great fire
Love your videos. I was thinking about getting a kayak, but seems like too much extra work. Just catching fish and making videos consumes a ton of time. When you add in a boat, more money, more time, more...I'd like to find some trout like this. I just uploaded some awesome bluefish action, not trout though.
please help i also have a gopro hero 5 and the audio is horrible in the case i need an external mic, but people say i have to spend like $50 on an adapter then buy the mic, is there any way around that ? what mic do you use ?
You can also just snip n pull them out. Normally the fire will kill all that out, so don't eat raw lol. When you fillet make sure you got a good bright light on to spot and work the knife like a surgeon to spot them.
If you make the vent hole a little smaller, it'd burn less intensely, if you already made the hole too big, try covering half of it with a flat rock or something, the more air it breathes, the hotter it runs.
Thresher fishing love your vids and love you bud.. Dude would you ever try fishing in florida... Or even better would you do a video collab with @blacktiph
Thanks Thresher your vids brighten up a bad day. Appreciate all you do for your viewers.

Hey Cooper, that was an awesome and educational video ma man. Instead of haulin a pit, I'll take my mini shovel, dry sticks, wood chips, and Kindle, oh, and my lighter. Great vid, fantastic idea. Thanks brother! Tight lines never stop!
Awesome job bro! It's very satisfying to catch clean cook and eat fish and game. Litteraly millions of Americans couldn't do that.
They always said if you get a fish on your first cast, you’re not catching another fish that day. Thresher you’re a God.

The Dakota fire hole is for stealth cooking so fire not seen and acts like rocket stove.

Awesome. Try that fire style in the hill country, lol.
