Also, the possibilities in Veterinary Science are close to endless. Everyone (of course with dedication) is sure to find a job of their liking. For example, 1. You can go for clinical practice serving as a Veterinary Doctor to Small Animals, Large Animals, Emergency Care, Wildlife, Surgery, exotic animal species (or literally any that you're interested in) 2. You could go for Master's, Ph.D and become an Associate Professor in any of the amazing Universities. 3. You could go for a government job in any of the Veterinary sectors like - meat industry, dairy industry, food industry (FOOD SAFETY OFFICER, Technical Officer), poultry development boards. 4. You can also serve as a veterinary doctor in the Indian Army (under Remount Veterinary Corps) You may also try in Paramilitary forces. 5. You can also appear in CSAT and get into Indian Forest Service....... Or even Agricultural Research Service, ICAR dept, NDRI etc 6. There are job opportunities in Ministry of Animal Husbandry, DIHAR, DFRL (Defense Food Research Lab) Mysore. 7. If you want to make a social impact by working in Animal Shelters, NGOs, Organisations too - again amazing. 8. If you're not interested in Govt Job - you could get into MNCs, Pharmaceuticals, Animal Nutrition industry, Govt as well as Private Research Laboratories. 9. If you wish to start your own business, Entrepreneurship options are endless. 10. You can also go Abroad, if you wish to explore this world ( and serve animals at the same time). There are various Licencing exams in abroad, after clearing which you can practice as a Vet Doctor in foreign countries. However, THIS ALL TRULY COMES DOWN ON YOUR INTEREST. Hello.. I will be appearing in vci counselling this year.... Please can you let me know how is ivri in academic term...also is it better in comparison to gadvasu, pantnagar, duvasu, tanuvas, luvas... I am really confused regarding the preference order of college during the vci counselling

It depends on you if you are crazy and mad about animals like me.go for it. Other wise choose another . Reasons why I want to be in a vet college : 1. I am mad and crazy about animals 2. It's interesting because in this field we get to study lots of different animals. 3. Job opportunities are vast . 4. Animals are cute

Hello Tushar! Firstly, ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR NEET EXAM!! I hope your preparation is going on smooth. Coming to the answer......Well, while BSc(CBZ) is also a good area of study, it cannot be compared with Veterinary. Both the courses are so different, so special on their own. Veterinary is 5.5 years long ......The job prospects are definitely really AMAZING and the scope is ENDLESS ( if you are ready to work hard and love it) We are taught about diversity of subjects. Chances are - if you're now interested in Wildlife ( which is one of my favorites as well) - once you start to study in details - many more options and choices open up. So, if you REALLY feel like pursuing Veterinary - honestly GO FOR IT. All the best ❤
