Tyson was lucky that Scarmaster was patient with him and trying to cheer him up, at least scarmaster was chill when he lost unlike Tyson on the other hand....he needs mental training to keep his cool when gaming and accept that losing is unavoidable because its part of the game, i was no different from him when I was a kid, IK losing stings but getting mad over it wont solve anything, ik its easier said than done but I know he can learn to control his anger if he wants to improve, if i could do it, he can too

Honestly for me I don't mind gimmicks or legendary pokemon unless its a majority/full team of legendaries. Like yeah they have really high stats and powerful moves, but they are just beatsticks at the end of the day and easily lose to basic comp strats such as stall or baton pass.

Yeah he was cocky and he talked shit, but handled himself with class when proven wrong and kept both an open mind and a level head. One has to wonder about the other adventures these guys have had. As a pokemon lover, but a non-competitive type player, one has to recognize that when your opponent goes into competitive with weaker pokemon against players that go with a full legendary team, it's because they know how to play with abilities and itens. Now instead of being a good sport and take the L, being a total jerk and insulting because they are overconfident is what make these videos worth watching.
Knowing how to play the game matters more than just having strong Pokemon. That's the flaw of Ubers, which is why I like OU and the other tiers more. You have to actually know how to play the game to win.

I've watched quite a bit of other Showdown videos and this is one of my favorites, and this is my first time here. I had no that there was a move that steals opponent Pokemon's stat changes so abruptly like that and my jaw dropped at how shocking that was. Amazing strat teams.
AG tier players typically only know how to do one thing with their mons, like geomancy xerneas or dragon dance rayquaza. I've lost count of how many darkrai my espeon killed because they would just keep dark voiding against a magic bounce pokemon.
