+Henk Gloudemans Thanks, and if it were up to me it would have been dumped ! ai wish it had worked properly when recording - it has every time before and since !
Congrats on acquiring this interesting & elegant machine. From a practical point of view I see little use for a repeat mechanism, maybe at a dance school perhaps? Also you'd need semi permanent needles. Occasionally find these in new condition (I check with a microscope), but being so hard could they damage records? Any idea how many times they can be played please?
+Paul Harrison the machine will play either twice or three times and that's it ! it was rather short lived as it's not an Autochanger it just plays the same record - i assume for dancing ! I can't take any credit for acquiring it as i did intent to leave it behind as it appeared to me to be just a boring console machine - i didn't even lift the lid on it until the morning of the recording
What a Beautifull machine !!!! Greetings Henk.

Use sewing machine oil instead of WD40
+Tojazzer I tend to use WD 40 to free the mechanism then for more permenant oiling i use 3 in 1 which is the same thing really
Very good. Gorgeous machine, by the way.
