This is one of the few special purpose lenses for the Z mount. Wonder if they ever gonna make more special purpose Z lenses like a fisheye or a tilt shift. At the same time I realize that you need a certain demand of course before you start producing these kind of lenses. What do you think?
@@Audimann I disagree with it being totally special purpose, only because it’s such a great portrait lens too. I think Nikon will have a fisheye and one or a couple of tilt shifts, but as you said, you have to have demand. To prioritize it. With that, they both will happen, but it’s probably not on their priority list at all lol
I really enjoyed this video. I love especially the mushroom pictures, but not only. Also great to see the way you are shooting and editing the pictures and the presets look cool. Furthermore, the 105mm is one of my most favorite lenses of all time :)
@@LukesMushrooms hey thanks for watching! I’ve never really “shot” mushrooms, but they are kind of cool with the macro lens. The white ones are a little uninspiring, but doing this convinced me that a variety might be fun things to shoot
@@ZWadePhoto Yeah I shoot mushrooms often. But in a very different style so it was also very inspiring to see how you shoot things. Maybe I'll experiment a bit more to get more creative :)
Mushroom shots look like another world! Love the 105MC which I bought on your recommendation. Your presets look very interesting; I usually avoid other's editing concepts because I'd rather learn on my own but some of yours look very valuable as I also hate spending loads of time doing post. Are your presets compatible with NX Studio and Luminar Neo?
As far as I know they aren’t Luminar compatible. There is a funky work around that in explanation frustrated me to the extent that I see more trouble than value in it.

haha, like you called it the "Z6 thirty" in the intro .. :-) Backyard adventures are always fun
@@Jespervangcom I didn’t. It definitely was a dumb 3 though. It was thuh-reee lol
That was a great video. I just recently rediscovered mushrooms myself and the macro world.
@@ronpardue the white ones were KIND of boring, but I can definitely image a variety being pretty fun to hunt for and photograph.
Thanks for watching!

@@ZWadePhoto 105mm is for sure great for portraits. I use my macro lenses more for other things than macro only.
Pulling grass out to get your picture is next level, never thought about that 👍
@@joudi_pics ecoterroism for the win. Twigs, branches grass, as long as it ain’t on private property I’m pulling it lol
