Very timely Ade. The forks are about next on my current project. Of course mine haven't been apart for years, if ever, so there is going to be a lot of swearing.
I am just doing my forks , exactly the same Mines a 54 b33 , clips were difficult as the end wasn't near the notch , I found the new lower bush was too big to fit in the lower leg and I made sure to deburr the clip area and still lightly polish lower brass bush in the lathe .good video , most helpful .cheers
That was brilliant. I would very much like to see a return to the longer films like you used to do, that is if you have time and you feel like making them. I use InShot editing for the films I make and I just use my mobile phone, in landscape. It works well, I think, that is how I have made all the films on my channel so far. If I can do it then a man of your calibre will be able to work wonders.
Hi Carl, I'm just getting used to Inshot, I was using Microsoft movie maker, which was perfect for what I did, then they discontinued it and removed it from my laptop during an update 🤬. So I bought Sony Vegas, but the computer is not good enough and crashes using it. Dean recommended Inshot, and it seems spot on, so when I have spare money I'll buy a Chromebook to use it on, then we'll get back to the 'proper' videos! Best wishes, Ade.
Thanks again very much Ade for this really helpful video. It was terrific to see how this works and I just did the same and gave you a little shout out 😊 best wishes, Mike!
good stuff Ade, iv`e just refurbished my 3ta forks, all bar the restrictor at the bottom of the fork leg, what on earth is the socket size to undo the bottom bolt in that impossible to access recess ? 🤔 👍
Thanks for watching. Can't remember the last time I looked at one, would have thought 1/8 whit or 3/8, maybe 7/16 af probably needs to be thin wall socket or box spanner. Thread I think is 1/4 unf or bsf depends on what is fitted, not to be mistaken for what 'should' be fitted!

Hello Michael, thanks for watching. I'll look forward to the video when you post that one. All the best me duck👍
Great tutorial. I enjoyed watching.
Best wishes, Dean.
Cheers, I'm waiting for the 'but, but, you've not repainted it original and re-chromed everything' with this project, it'll be fun.

Thanks mate!
Great video - very helpful. Did you ever make the video on reinstalling the forks, with your puller tool? I don't seem to be able to find it.
The next video I'll probably do, I'm just struggling to get any time in the workshop at the moment. Thanks for commenting and watching.
That was extremely helpful, thank you. Could you please guve the dimensions of the tool
I'll do a quick video on it this week 👍
@@AGEngineering thanks that would be great
Posting now, so should be up in the hour
I unfortunately let the spring clip gap in the gap of the fork, dont ever do that ,it's a nightmare to get it out again
Will you service my b31 forks?
Hi, unfortunately I struggle to get time to work on my own projects currently, sorry.
I can only see a very narrow strip up the middle of the screen. You have a problem with your camera.
Just using my phone ,I'll get back to the 'proper ' videos when I can, sorry!
