Its sad to see long time businesses go but its not a lack of workers that's to blame. People are looking for and finding higher paying jobs. Hawaii is an expensive place to live and businesses need to adapt and start boosting pay. Im hoping we get that minimum wage bill through soon.
Hawaii is opening up too late. Too many long time businesses have been and still are closing. If it were only up to the Governor, he would keep all of Hawaii locked down even longer. But the mayors have finally come to their senses to open back up. Thank goodness the governor is out after this year. I hope Hawaii elects a decent new governor.
A lot of these restaurants don't even have parking. So how tf you expect us to eat at your place and no parking?

It was and is, a challenge, and dang near impossible, to own, operate and run a business in Hawaii perood! Way before covid even started!
