I have never seen an Elsha game go this well before. That was commander was piloted phenomenally.
He had a turn 1 commander and brain freeze and Underworld in his opening hand. How could it not go well?

I built a casual version of Lotho with Lurrus as a companion. It's a ton of fun.

People often forget that having an LED enter tapped doesn’t stop it from doing its thing.
Love the fancy way Zack ended the game instead of just milling everyone with Brain Freeze. Its also safer because this way there was no risk of someone having a "target player draws a card" spell to steal his win. Just wondering, did he run thoracle and just didnt use it because he wanted to be fancy? Or does his deck not run it?
Edit: Brain Freeze was not an option because final fortune was played, I missed that completely. So that super creative win was actually necessary!
I'm assuming it's one more card that can be a noncreature off the top of his library instead
He had to end the game then and there. Final Fortune was in play and he’d immediately lose if he tried that.
They can still response to draw him cards since he mills out his entire deck, but nvm just cast counterspells from underworld breach
@@noidea5129 also Ranger captain was sacrificed, i was talking about milling opponents then passing (underworld breach wouldnt be there anymore at that point). But I indeed completely forgot about the finak fortune, this was the reason he couldnt mill his opponents to win. Still interesting that he just didnt simply play a thoracle (but again, probably not in the deck? Is a creature so cant be cast from the top of the library, also in jeskai so no demonic consultation / tainted pact, very good chance its sinply not in there), but the way he did close out zhe game was super creative and fun

as someone who also plays Lotho as commander, you need to have a hand that let's you T1 Lotho, or have a giant draw spell on T2 or 3. Everything else you send back
