Went to a cEDH tournament a couple weeks back. A Krark/Saka player was on the play when the round went to time and he refused to agree to a draw, since he thought he could get to a win. Finishing his turn took FORTY MINUTES, just watching him flip coins over and over and over. Some days, I wish they’d banned one of those two instead of Nadu.
My favorite part about this video is that it wasn't recycled content. Love your guys' stuff, glad to see what I started coming here for 320 episodes ago
Huge missed triggers in this game, to the point where the result is basically invalid. Notably, Krark’s ability is not a MAY ability, so Cris HAD to flip for Pact of Negation. That means it either gets bounced to hand (which he can just recast) or it gets copied. Not only did Cris miss a Pact trigger, he likely would’ve had multiple Pact triggers to resolve at his upkeep that he either couldn’t pay for or wouldn’t have had much of a turn after paying for. Most people I’ve played against either put the Pact card on top of their library or have a token specifically for the Pact trigger that they put there, so they can’t draw a card without remembering to pay for Pact. Just part of the reason that Krark sucks to watch and play against, imo. Even the simplest of plays get waaayyy over-complicated with Krark, as well as turns taking FAR too long.
Krark was already bounced to hand when pact was cast but you are correct that there were a ton of missed triggers that could have changed the outcome of the game.
Krark (and Sakashima) remind me of Nadu where you generate so much advantage that even if you don’t win, you might as well have. Cool in theory, “bruh” in gameplay.
Here we see the weakness of Kark without the partner of Sakashima. While you can get more clones in the 99, you really want 3+ Krarks to mitgate bad luck. Having one of those clones in the command zone helps so much.
How did the Thassa's get flashed in? I thought Floodcaller only gave non creatures flash? If there is something else giving flash I missed it, alot going on that last turn.
Normally i dont love a thoracle win (i play it though, i get it) that said, it finally made the krark turn end so thank you thoracle. Thank you so much. Also shout out neku bringing the pain
Yes I missed the pact trigger. Yes I am a Cheater McCheaterson. Would it have mattered? Idk maybe, I had borne in my hand. Ryan was gracious enough to help me walk through the win and that's how we learn. Still had tons of counter magic in hand with Krark on the field.
Is a learning experience. Lots going on. Might not have been able to push damage through on Tevesh and and do as much THAT turn, and opponents would have more resources to use for their turns. Probably just would have been a win 1 turn later.
So cobble floated the urzas saga mana to pay for copy artifact but he would lose that mana once he moves to his main phase before he casts it. There are a surprising amount of toxic and delusional comments.
this would've been a great game to watch if not for the krark deck.... every time I see that deck in any game, it's just incredibly tiring and really makes the whole game more unenjoyable to watch :/ also, mising the pact trigger hurts
My favorite part of the video was when cris timewalked ryan then Anthony just entirely blew him out to add salt and lemon to the wound while simultaneously twisting the knife.
Super stoked to see krark-si. Except the krark-si list is very off what the krark-si discord has established as a core list. I hope they give it a retry after looking at some of the recent lists that have been winning events!
Krark is waaaayyy worse than Nadu, imo. Every Nadu deck I played against in cEDH was built well enough that, once they had a free equip, Nadu, and a token maker (like Field of the Dead or Springheart Nantuko), the game could basically end. Once they have like 15 creatures, there’s essentially no point in having them go through triggers one at a time. Krark almost always had to play it out, and I’ve never seen a Nadu deck take as long to play as a Krark. Absolutely aids to watch and play against
Cris intentionally was cheating, attacking with a summoner's sick creature, ignoring pact of negation triggers.... would not play with this guy again if i was in this game
@gunterlauch2241 This many mess ups seem intentional. (Attacking with a creature you just played and missing a pact). Even if not intentional, it was still cheating, and I think playing with someone who only misses things up that benefit him is not someone I'd play with willingly. None of this matters as it's not a tournament, and I'm sure there is no prize, but he should be called out for it so it doesn't keep happening.
this game really showcases how underrated just ignoring your pact triggers can be.
I think that the pact of negation trigger was forgotten. It might not have made a difference but I would have liked to see it
Did Chris pay for Pact of Negation?
He did not
That's a bad miss 💀
I SEE the same Thing
Omg
Nop
Nature is healing, nekusar is back into pods
Krark is exhausting to watch.
And we even get the sped up version. Imagine playing against it :D
I feel like Krark players have Main Caracter Syndrome xD

@@eXJonSnow As a Krark player, that person is just a poor pilot. When you get experienced with Krark, the win attempts speed up dramatically.
Chris loses by forefit for not paying for Pact. Congrats to Cobblepot
Nekusar is sweet! Glad to see a lab maniac! They got me into Cedh back in the day with Tasigur and food chain tazri!
I know I miss them so much
Figures Cobble would bring back Nekusar to remind us all how terrifying it was pre Oracle days.
My favorite part about this video is that it wasn't recycled content. Love your guys' stuff, glad to see what I started coming here for 320 episodes ago
That game of solitaire was pretty impressive lol

This should be pinned, the deck didn’t work , missing triggers did
That was awesome. I feel like this is the only time I've seen a Krark deck on this channel actually work.
Game with Krark is always boring tbh. A lot of time is wasted on Krark trigger. But he’s really interesting as a storm commander.
Krark (and Sakashima) remind me of Nadu where you generate so much advantage that even if you don’t win, you might as well have. Cool in theory, “bruh” in gameplay.
I wish nothing but mana flood to every Krark player. Your deck sucks to play against.
8:32 wouldn't it only be draw three through Curiosity? since Nekusar can't deal the 4th point of damage due to Ryan dying in the 3rd trigger
Even if Cris forgot his pact trigger, this storm game does put a smile on my face. Does he play Sakashima in his main deck?
He does not. It’s a grixis shell that’s enhanced by krark.
Love when your games show us a hefty stack resolution, great game
I would love to see Tameshi, Orvar or Master of Keys one day.
+1 for MoK
First watch of your channel. I love the commentery style with the play. Will be watching all your videos eventually.
Love the channel guys and glad it's still going. Great game as usual and nice to see cobble in a game. Wish they would revive his old channel....
Thank you!
Just a heads up the neku list still has dockside and mana crypt in the list.
Third time in a row the decklists are messed up. Need to add https in front of the first two decklists to make them links.
Thanks for the shoutout! We have updated the links.
I like the variety of commanders you showcase ❤
I forgot why Krark isn’t played much anymore, that was ROUGH 😂
What is the mat that Ryan has? It's clean, is it available somewhere for purchase?
Will Playing with Power be at Magic Con Chicago this year? I’d love to have some stuff signed!
Yes! We will be at this upcoming Chicago! We hope to see you there!
Always love to see "not top tier" decks in gameplays... it shows the power of otjer commanders... with this said I hate krark decks...
Was harmonic prodigy adding another krark trigger to the stack? I didnt look like it.
Here we see the weakness of Kark without the partner of Sakashima. While you can get more clones in the 99, you really want 3+ Krarks to mitgate bad luck. Having one of those clones in the command zone helps so much.
Arent the DRC triggers mandatory? is it allowed to just not surveil?
You can choose to leave it on top. That’s what they are choosing to do.
All i had to see was Nekusar being played to click on the video
wow, krark decks with video cuts is still aids........
Please stop featuring Krark games, I think this one was the last one I will watch. It’s boring honestly, even with your neat narration.
Krark control is brutal great win
Really happy to see a Krark game again!
Krark needs to join Nadu in the exile zone 😂
How did the Thassa's get flashed in? I thought Floodcaller only gave non creatures flash?
If there is something else giving flash I missed it, alot going on that last turn.
He casted born upon the wind
Normally i dont love a thoracle win (i play it though, i get it) that said, it finally made the krark turn end so thank you thoracle. Thank you so much. Also shout out neku bringing the pain
Long turn attack happen so often, keep just played creatures on the back line
Yes I missed the pact trigger. Yes I am a Cheater McCheaterson. Would it have mattered? Idk maybe, I had borne in my hand. Ryan was gracious enough to help me walk through the win and that's how we learn. Still had tons of counter magic in hand with Krark on the field.
Hey that's how we learn. Glad you had someone to help you with the lines and hopefully you remember pact in the future
Is a learning experience. Lots going on. Might not have been able to push damage through on Tevesh and and do as much THAT turn, and opponents would have more resources to use for their turns. Probably just would have been a win 1 turn later.
why did they banned Nadu again ?
That was such an epic ending!
I see Nekusar, I watch video
Prodigy attacking the turn it entered, solitary Krark, forgotten Pact. Not the best match really.
WHAT IS THIS POD...
This gonna be fun
Krark is always awesome to watch, the only time I wouldn't root for it is against Charles monowhite
Always love to see Cobble, he really defined CEDH for me and many others. SO happy to see Nekusar as well!
The classic 1 v1 EDH game because you have a Godo and a random G/B deck that stopped the godo deck from winning but otherwise did nothing.
Man, Krark games are boring to play AND boring to watch 😓
Exactly like Nadu games
Wow cris had all the answers, except for the fact that he should’ve lost to his own pact
Классика Крарка: всё или ничего))
So cobble floated the urzas saga mana to pay for copy artifact but he would lose that mana once he moves to his main phase before he casts it. There are a surprising amount of toxic and delusional comments.
Krark is just annoying to me
God this win is not even close to deserved.
is cobblepot a nickname ?
That’s his legal name.
Very interesting game
Let's fuckin Godo
this would've been a great game to watch if not for the krark deck....

krark is honestly such a stupid card lo
The only good Thoracle win
Godo is best!!!!!
The more i see krark on the battlefield, the more i hope it won’t happen again. So annoying
not the Krark haters XD
Found the solitaire player
Has a Dargo/Thrasios playmat, plays a non Dargo/Thrasios deck lol
I used to love the amount of content you guys put out but man, it's like 2-4 weeks between videos sometimes. 😢
That's about to change in 2025! Stay tuned!
Eww Krark and also that player is missing a H in his name! 😂😂😂 Doesnt get worse than that lol. Jk GG
Super stoked to see krark-si. Except the krark-si list is very off what the krark-si discord has established as a core list. I hope they give it a retry after looking at some of the recent lists that have been winning events!
Chris forgot to pay for Pact, and considering he won, this entire game is invalidated.
Please never upload games with krarks deck. So annoying)
This is worse than watching a nadu player
Love the channe, but please dont showcase krark again. I literraly stopped watching the video halfway. Its about as close to Nadu as you can get.
Krark is waaaayyy worse than Nadu, imo.

every deck is ThOracle - format is so stale
Dude won at instant speed. I don’t even know what to do anymore.
@@PlayingWithPowerMTGbut how instant speed? he only was allowed to play noncreature spells at instant speed.
@@gunterlauch2241 He cast and resolved Borne Upon a Wind during his winning turn.
@@PlayingWithPowerMTG ah okay thanks i missed that
