  • Shout-out to Ms Celine (012-3130768) for showing me around. Kindly contact her for any viewing arrangements!
    Fitting the modern lifestyle and requirements, this project provides efficient living unit where every inch of the interior is not waster. Storage spaces are done delicately with the fully furnished design.
    To compensate for the smaller unit size, the developer designed an enormous deck packed with facilities. To walk around the deck also got me gasping for air. On top of the standard facilities, the one that blew my mind was the floating cinema-like Audio Visual Room and the Lifestyle Lounge. Residents now can host their friends in the convenience of their home.
    Despite being a leasehold property, the asking price currently is the highest in the area and I think it deserves it. Although it might look dense from the exterior but I encourage to visit it to fully experience the spatial quality.

    Great video Shawn. Sharing another update - the link bridge connecting Potpourri to Citta Mall has been approved & started use for residents to access the shopping mall which significantly improves convenience. Based on your experience what you've seen in property market, do many condominiums having direct link-access to mid/big sized shopping malls?

    I've been watching your property reviews for 2 weeks now. This is the first intro without the camera panning down to your face, then you saying "Psshh, wassup guys!" , as you swing your arm from back to front haha. I guess because this is an older vid. Keep up the good work!

    I'd recommend to not use that format of outtro where the hand covers the camera. In my opinion it is a little cheesy. But lovely review and great insight.

    Hi, thanks for sharing all the useful info about real estate! Your videos are short and straight to the points! Please keep this up! In regards to Ara Damansara, in your opinion, how would you position, Potpurri vs the surrounding new project like Cantara, in terms of investment point of view. In terms of entry price, facilities, future capital appreciation outlook. Thanks!

      Hi Allan!
      First of all, thanks for watching and I appreciate the kind words. Glad you liked it!!
      Potpourri seems to be the 'atas' product in that area because of the overwhelming facilities provided. I really enjoyed the visit there as I was surprised again and again on their effort on facilities. However, their price is around 15% - 20% higher than the surrounding, which somewhat limits the appreciation outlook. But, the rental demand is higher in comparison because of their facilities.
      As for Cantara, it's winning point would be walking distance to the LRT station. The latest phase just went through 'balloting' as the cheque received was overwhelming. Just bare in mind that Cantara will be completed around 3 years from now. Generally the rental market in Ara Damansara is not bad, but it'll be slightly below the installment amount of the new projects as the property price has increased.
      Hope this help.

    Thank you for all the videos, great works. BTW, what is the difference between Service Residency and Condo? For a renter, any difference between these two types? Will there be difference in term of utilities bills (water, and electity bills)? Any AirBnB in this condo? (You know, as a long-term residence living in a condo, you might not like short term residence in and out everyday. Sorry too many questions.

    • @iherng
      @iherng  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Serviced residence is commercial title, condo is residential title. But as a tenant, those do not matter, the only thing would be the utility bills where the owner can actually convert their rates from commercial rates to residential rates.
      As for Airbnb, I would suggest to check airbnb directly?
      Thanks for watching yea =)

    How would you compare n rate the facility deck of the potpourri with ecosky?

    • @iherng
      @iherng  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello=) First of all, both of these are for different segment of audience. Potpourri is already around RM1000 per square feet. Therefore it wouldn't be a fair comparison.
      However, addressing your question, I personally prefer potpourri's floating kitchen and cinema space which is incredible. The difference is actually on the land use as well. As Eco Sky is a mixed development with commercial space, they have less area to play with facilities. Potpourri on the other hand have the luxury of having a separate block for their management office, studio and etc.
      Thank you very much for watching yea=)

    Is it pet friendly condo?

    • @iherng
      @iherng  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Seftya, unfortunately most of the apartment buildings in KL are not pet friendly. However, this applies mostly to dogs as we must respect our Muslim friends. I think others such as cats and hamster shouldn't be a problem=)

      Iherng thanks for the reply, I have some cats I want to bring to Malaysia. the problem is I am not sure where I will look for a place to live, but I am making sure that there are several places in Petaling Jaya, whether it's a condo or apartment that allows tenants to keep cats. Your video really helped me, I was very interested in the facilities in Potopuri.
