What a great idea to use napkins for hand towels! I have a linen fetish myself! And I’m so drawn to pretty tablecloth and napkins and such. And then they don’t get used so now I’m going to pull them out and do that! Thank you for the great idea.
The tin tray with holes I believe is for ice cream cone cupcakes.. I gave one and you put the ice cream cones in the tray and fill them with cake batter. I love your channel. Have a blessed day
You know, if you ever get tired of redecorating your house you might wanna think of going into staging or decorating other peoples properties. You could do like a design on a dime. You’re so good at what you do and it’s just a thought.
Hello and welcome back. Happy New year I was having so many withdrawals of your vlogs. I almost looks like a little kid when I seen it pop up that you were back
Girl you have got me hooked on Goodwill shopping and I’ve been redecorating my whole house! We have the same taste in decor. I’m a fairly new subscriber and you’re my absolute favorite! God bless you and your family!
You showed up on my feed and I loved the tie rack to display your beautiful Johnson Brothers plates. My husband and I thrift all the time…but not at Goodwill much, because ours has ridiculous prices and not much there. We go to estate sales on Saturdays. We quit eating out because with thrifting you actually have something to show for it. Estate sales are very well priced..sometimes ridiculously priced. We had what the estate sale people told us was a tie rack with wooden spindles for hanging. A girl from church came over and said OMG that is the magazine rack my dad made me. She had grown tired of it and it landed in an estate sale. I want to get one like you. Since, I don’t “ know” you, do you thrift just for fun and your home like us or do you resell. I have way too much, especially decor. My Valentines, Easter and Fall decor are almost as big as my Christmas decor. Good hunting❤❤❤❤ Oh was going to tell you I did find beautiful wrapping paper for Christmas.Thick and lined. I saw these little trees for one dollar and fifty cents. I did not buy them then…went back and all were gone. The woman in front of me bought twelve. They were nice and the GW lady said Marshall’s and TJ Max donate to GW. I was five minutes too late. Lol Love your finds,..especially sweater, and shirt..not sure you got the cape .
@@ThrilledThrifter Yes. My sis asked for six things from estate sales before Christmas. I found a thirty dollar salad spinner for five..never used , new in box botanical coasters for one dollar, Corelli bowls for two dollars..a beautiful vase Macys still had thirty dollar tag for her dahlias for one dollar a beautiful red and grey pottery pitcher that I almost kept for myself. We just have a lot of estate sales..a lot of older people dying and we have been going so many years the estate sale people just know they have to lower prices the last day to sell stuff, not to say there are others that are higher and we are willing to pay for higher end things. I will subscribe!
Thank you so much for your perspective on thrifting. Too many channels are focused on reselling. I like to see how to use these items for use in my home.
I think the prettiest use of the tie rack was on top of the fridge to display your white plates. What a great idea. I'm going to be watching for one of those as I go through.
I love how your mind works with thrifted items, I wish I had a fraction of your foresight. I also got a chuckle about the tie rack, it’s like I don’t know what this is but I need it. Then to see all the things you do with it is fantastic.
The muffin tin with the holes in the bottom is for baking things like mini cheesecakes or muffins etc. The little discs that cover the holes are missing.
Hi Julie, I use my husband’s old tie rack that looks just like that to hang my necklaces on. It works great and keeps them from tangling. I thought the plate idea was great. You are very creative and I love rifting with you and Elizabeth.
@@ThrilledThrifter You are so welcome. It’s the least I could do with all the wonderful suggestions you have to repurpose things. I love that big bowl with the autumn flowers. I thought it would be great on the Thanksgiving table with mashed potatoes in it. LOL …and that big ceramic spoon would be perfect for serving them.
Welcome Home Julie, hope You and your Family had a glorious Holiday. I was thinking how blessed Your Fans are to have found your channel and you! I confess, I have found some pieces of home decor at my local Goodwill, since people are getting organized and donating. Trash to Treasure for all of us! Have a Fun weekend 👏❤️👏
I use those turines around the holidays and put bulbs in them like paper whites or your amaryllis they grow very beautifully in those and I just put some Moss around the top so you don't see the dirt
That is a man’s tie rack. Good find ,love it with the plates ❤️ it would also be cute with decorative scarfs. Love the video, Happy New Year. May Gods Blessings be on you and your family. 🙏🏻❤️
I was so happy to see you're back. Love the tie rack with your plàtes. So pretty but it also looked good in your bedroom. I've seen those and hope I see another one.
Yes that wooden Peg bored I believe this for ties as well however I have one and I love to organize my longer necklaces on it in my dressing area it holds a lot of jewelry
This goodwill looks exactly like one I used to shop at when my husband was working in Freeport, TX. It was a great Goodwill! I found the best stuff while I was out there with him. I absolutely love the vintage tie rack you found. Such great ideas to use it for🥰
Definitely a tie rack but my friend uses hers in her kitchen to tie and dry her fresh garden herbs on,she also strings fruit slices to dry them and use them to make homemade dried fruit garland.
@@ThrilledThrifter Julie, after watching your video, I saw one of the same "tie display" things on some other video. They had plates on it. It looked similar to yours but the pegs were a different shape. Just an FYI
Books, movies, CDs are what my Goodwill has a glut of. ---I had to chuckle at the ladle because I have 3, plastic to be sure, but one of them looks like the Loch Ness Monster, which tickles me because I've been to Scotland, altho I didn't sail the Loch with my friends, I had an agenda to see Glencoe, site of the massacre. ---Fun to have another shop-along with you.
Great haul. Happy New Year. That metal holder could be used to hold your baking sheets if you have the room to store them upright. I love the sweater. You are right, classic never goes out of style.
Loved everything your bought.
You are so refreshing
Love your videos
The "funny" little ironing board is to use on a table - if you don't have or want a full standing board.
I love seeing your thrifted items ❤
That funny looking ironing board looks like a table ironing board to me.
Welcome back, Julie! Missed you!
Thank you 😊
I want that quilt!! It’s beautiful!!!❤❤❤❤
That's nice how the sun is shining into the store and you have a zen day.
I love it when you are looking at something and say Huh or is it Hum!
The board could be a cribbage board.. always enjoy your videos...hugs
The gold wire thing was for record albums. My sister and aunt had one in the 60's. Elizabeth could use one for her record albums.
I would use the tie hanger for nevklaces

Julie that goldstone thing you thought was a mail sorter…that would be great for Elizabeth to display her record collection.
I’ll definitely have to watch out for one! Thank you 😊
I feel the same way with my clothes. I love to go a size or two bigger because I prefer to feel comfortable over stylish.

You’re so sweet! Thank you 😊
Hello my friend HAPPY AND BLESSED NEW YEAR

I have one in my bathroom to hang long necklaces and elastic headbands. Not a great use but it works well!

That rack was for albums for record player.
Ive been waiting what feels like forever to see your video. Girl you have been missed. Great haul

That quilt is beautiful ❤
I can’t believe you didn’t get that cross stitch piece! Great verse and a TRAIN on the bottom! 😊

Ms. Julie! The tie rack as a plate rack! Brilliant!

That is what I was thinking..
Yes, it is a knitting loom. We are so smart! Lol
I love where you put that old tie rack!
That rust colored plaid would make cute couch pillow covers. ( I just made blue plaid pillow covers from a second hand shower curtain.)
