ECO Friendly How to wrap 3” & smaller 2" Round Soap Bars with Coffee filters and Cupcake liners

This a great alternative to not using plastic as packing.
3" bars are made in 3" PVC pipe molds cut at 1" thick and weighing 4oz. Using a coffee filter and a 3mm Shipping tape roll as a wrap holder. 2" Bars are made in 2" PVC pipe soap molds weighing 1oz. Using cupcake liners that are 2" by 1 1/2".
I get my labels form Online labels.

The cupcake liners comes from WebstaurantStore Size is 2" by 1 1/2 sides. www.webstaurantstore.com/whit...
My wrapping tape I got off amazon. Its .5" thick. You can use Washi paper also. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07...
The cupcake liners are lightly waxed and may be hard for the labels to stick. This is why I use the paper strip.
Place the bar inside the liner, place inside the liner holder, which is an old tape roll. Fold or fan edges to the center, Tape, and add your label.

Not sure about what could be used for all those other shapes. I use boxes and cotton bags for my Rectangle and square bars. I double wrap with wax paper inside.

You are welcome. I live in a dry climate so I have not experienced sweating. I would think they may stick to the soap. You could maybe use Deli wrap paper?

I am wondering if this would be a good idea for melt and pour soap because I am tired of adding heat for shrink wrapping when melt and pour soap has a softer consistency than cp soap.

It should work. I have not work with M&P, but I have heard of bars sweating in certain climates. The cupcake liners do have a wax layer which would be ok. The coffee filters may get wet if they sweat.

@@WildPlantanica Thank You so much for your reply. I will definately try this out with soap for myself first before I think of using this as a method when I sell at fairs. I do purchase a low sweat soap base as I live in Louisiana and honestly, it doesnt sweat when I have had my soap out in the heat at a fair. But I hate adding more heat during shrink wrap as it does make the soap melt at the edges even with the swiftest heat gun strokes. All the best 💫
