That is MOST IMPORTANT TO ME On these wearables! Shame these manufacturers cannot give us a decent microphone/audio. Even dual mics.. Very Important to pick up Audio for documenting or personal protection! Most these $250 cams only pick up the operators voice. Everything else is poor.
@@gregtoope Its actually the E5 Plus.. which is still 4k but it doesnt come with the remote control. I cannot find anything in English on what the 4k means though. Do you happen to know ( I am not tech tech savviest)
Really the only options are something like this a GoPro or Insta360 camera. They all have their benefits. I have all 3 and will use a different camera depending on what I'm shooting. The most flexible is the 360 cams but they are also the most amount of work.

as of now i dont believe you can use this for zoom calls, but i heard that they will be releasing a EP7 Pro that will be able to do that. Not sure when it will be released, but we will keep an eye out for it.

Can I make video calls with this? I need to share video while having free hands and receive instructions for repairs.... This could be the solution...but no review talks about this feature.... Is it possible???
Do you happen to know where to get the battery pack and the cost? I have filed service technicians in my business and would love to get cameras on them but would need to record for 8 hours per day. I often get clients that say that the tech did something or caused an issue on there property. I would love footage of my guys on site so that I can adequately defend them and my company from false accusations or take responsibility for what we did.
Hi Karl, Did you end up using these for your field technicians? How did it work. I am looking at a similar thing to help support my techs in the field using possible live feed where another engineer can assist remotely?
I bought one & immediately realized it's a mistake. No imaging stabilizing, no easy to figure out buttons, too loud speaker sound, all these combined makes this head-cam a dud / white elephant.
Save time and money. Get a Gopro. None of the cheapy camera's are worth a crap. They don't compare to Gopro in any way. Trust me, I've tried the cheapy crap camera's many times.
I agree that GoPro is definitely one of the best action cameras out there, but for many it's just not worth the price tag that goes along with it. Also the form factor just isnt the best for many different sports. Also depending on your needs, you can buy 3 or more cameras for the same price as a GoPro with little sacrifice in picture quality.

Got the EP6. Mostly the same deal. Easy to connect to my phone. Would like to be able to zoom but otherwise its fantastic.

That's a decent little camera for a very reasonable price.
I think so too. Definitely has a little bit of a specific purpose unlike most action cameras. But I definitely think I can find some uses for it!

Any usb battery pack would work. It's not proprietary.

doubt that a 99 cent laser pointer is gonna break the bank. Laser pointers would cost next to nothing.

I used it and it worked fine. I know use their EP7 with has a 2 axis stabilizer in it. Works much better.
