Congrats for leaving the stock pipes on! My 09 Classic had Cobra 2-1 pipes when I got it. Sounded great, but after an hour or so,were intolerable. Found a nice set of originals off a 21 model. Noise is no longer an issue on long rides. I have an existing backrest and Viking bags and still have the chrome cover. Live in N E Ohio, planning run down to Lubbock Tx. early summer. Keep on ridin'!

Digging the motorcycle content!! I had a Suzuki M50 a few years ago but sold it when I moved onto a dirt road. Now I got the bug for an adventure bike!! Excited to see more 👍 be safe out there!

I’d love to get a KLR and burn up the mountain roads and do some camping off of it. Thanks for watching

Thank you for this video man me and my wife are looking to take a trip on one of these bikes and this really helped but can you add saddle bags with this back rack

I wouldn’t put the saddle bags on the back rack. Most go under the rear seat and the weight is in the rear finder

Great video! I've got a friend who is selling me his 2007 Vulcan 900 for $1000 with 15k miles-- definitely an investment towards saving some gas money over my v8 SUV... It's stock, so I'll need some of these upgrades including a wind screen. Looking forward to it!

Other than the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX, you may want to check out the Suzuki GSX-S 1000GT+ or the Yamaha Tracer 9GT. I like all 3, but I would probably go with the Suzuki.

I think the gsx has a really aggressive seating position where I want a more upright position. I’ll have to check them out thanks for watching

Did you ever decide on a sport bike? Huge price difference. I loved my 650

We have a sport bike. But truly I’m looking for a Honda 300l to go play on the mountain roads near my house.

You must’ve gotten a friend deal on the bike. There’s no way that bluebook for only 800 bucks.
