    Wow amazing. Never seen anything like this technique. It’s beautiful. Does it have to be an embossing gun or would hairdryer work? What’s photo paper or similar?

      Thank you! An embossing gun works best for me, but you do have to be careful, as it gets very hot and can warp your paper. A hair dryer works, but I can't get the same definition as I do with the embossing gun. Photo paper is the type of paper you print photographs on.

    I love your work. But I was wondering; you are using 99% Alcohol and applying direct heat. Is there a concern for flammability? I have seen a lot of people doing it I was just wondering.

      I'm sure that of you hold the gun in one area too long, you could burn the paper, but I've not had any fire issues. I've seen some set the alcohol on fire...I would never do that. Not even sure why it's done.

    I don't have a embossing gun, can I use a blower dryer? Will it work?

    • @VivoVintageDesigns
      @VivoVintageDesigns  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use a blow dryer. In fact, I posted a video about a month ago showing the difference between using an embossing gun, blow dryer and airbrush. To create rings. Take a look.

    So beautiful! One question, we can't use this gun on Yupo paper can we?

    • @VivoVintageDesigns
      @VivoVintageDesigns  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I usually mention that you cant use and embossing gun on Yupo as it will melt the paper. I must have forgotten in this video. You can use a hair dryer on low heat and you will get rings, but they are not as defined.

    Jeanette, thank you for making these videos to show us the various techniques you use to create your beautiful pieces of art! I know it takes a lot of time and effort to make and post a video. And I just want you to know how much I appreciate it! I am learning so much by watching them! Thank you again!

      Thank you so much Debbie. It's not easy, but it is by far my favorite thing to do. I'm so happy you find them helpful. That makes it all worthwhile 😊

    Watching again and I’m wondering why you are using your heat gun to move your ink around at the start?
    Thanks....love your work.

    • @VivoVintageDesigns
      @VivoVintageDesigns  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. I find that using the embossing gun leave hard lines as the ink dries, (depending how you move the ink) which I find helpful when outlining. It left patterns that looked like leaves...which I then traced with the posca pens.

      Thank you for that. I try to keep my videos under 30 minutes, but art takes a lot longer than that. Iv'e finally learned that I can pause the video while I'm recording and start again...lol...imagine that!
