    Hey guys, here is my interesting gold catching video. How to catch micron gold easily with a plastic honeycomb?!
    Start to find one in a beekeeper shop. Plastic honeycomb structure to grow faster the colonies.
    I had an idea about the micron gold catching. I could use a piece of plastic honeycomb and it worked well!!! :)
    I started to use new banking platforms to buy spare parts for my experiments.

    I called it Honeybeast. This is an alternative of the Flow Pan from Gold Hog without handles. The water flow is similar, the working method is nearly same, but it is a much cheaper product.
    Easy to use, practical and fast process to catch micron gold from a river without any complex equipment or any complicate methods.

    How much are specks of gold worth? I wondered, I googled to no avail, and so I'v tried to figure it out myself. "Specks" is a fairly loose term so I mean the stuff too small to pick up with a finger or tweezers, what some call "micron gold" or "fine gold", often only a sniffer bottle can pick up. Between 500 microns (.5 mm) and 30 microns(barely visible).
    A cubic 1.6 cm troy ounce of pure gold is about $1200, with impurities reduce that about 25% of that value or about $900 for "nuggets", and per cubic centimeter of "nugget" which is seldom square, rather usually rounded or in flakes which would be even less, or would come out to about $200 per cubic centimeter. So 1 cubic millimeter of gold nugget would be worth about 20 cents on average, since it takes 1 thousand cubic millimeters to make a cubic centimeter, and that's assuming the nuggets are round, flat flakes would be worth half that or less. It takes 1 billion cubic microns to make 1 cubic millimeter, and 30 microns is the smallest thing our eyes can detect, a human hair is about 80 microns in width. So "micron gold" specks might fall between 30-500 microns or maybe 250 microns on average, also depending on how round or flat they are shaped. So it would take somewhere between 8 to 80 gold specks to make 20 cents worth of gold. A piece of gold that's just barely visible to the human eye is worth about 1/1000th of a penny. If all my numbers are right.
    There is more than one "worth" in a speck of gold though beyond dollar signs, fun per hour, indicators of increasing or decreasing gold concentrations, idk what else?

    • @AttilaBlade
      @AttilaBlade  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      This is a hard question, and the answer too. In the Danube river's middle section in Hungary the average size 0,3mm as 300 microns. We have a good spot if we found more than 80-100 little piece of gold in a liter sample. If we collect 1-1,5 m3 from this and we clean up perfectly, we have 1 g of 99.7% clean gold. This is a pretty hard work to collect and clean up from the river bench. But a good hobby for fun and for the healty body. :)

    Make a rubber honeycomb mat, use same size cells, make it about 1.5cm deep. Now cut sawtooth pattern 12 to 15 degree angle. Put in sluice. It act like vortex mat and sawtooth mat all in one. Catch really small micron gold like that and be able to run shovelfulls a time

    • @AttilaBlade
      @AttilaBlade  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, but the 1,5 cm deep is too much. If the cell has same size than 5-7 mm depth is enough for the micron gold.

    • @AttilaBlade

      MenoD d Yes, you will! The gold sit in the inner corner usually. If you could see some red or blacky sand on the river bank than you find a rich place. But the gold is everywhere, so if you are in a corner inner side than you will find some micron gold there.
