I think the opposite. The game is beautiful, but very repetitive. The combat in this game is sensational, but because it's repetitive and extremely linear, you end up getting sick of having to do the same things over and over again, which ends up being frustrating.
Marius would be a true Damocles if he had a sequel. In seriousness, I think a sequel would be great. In another time of the Roman Empire, plenty of corrupt Emperors and Generals in the history of Rome. Also plenty of possible protagonists.
When i saw Crisis first time it was a new universe of graphics for me( we had only one PC in the city what can run it on high settings😅), same with GTA 3.
One of the best looking games I have ever played. I just redownloaded the game yesterday and it’s amazing how graphics still better then 95 percent of game now in the 2024 smh.

The Battle of York looks absolutely stunning! The ultra-realistic graphics and gameplay in 4K at 60FPS really take the experience to another level. It’s a game you can’t miss. The attention to detail in the settings and characters is amazing, making each battle feel epic and immersive.
The Roman helmet complete with it's comb and lobster tail and the cuirass breastplate would make a comeback in the 1600s as the standard outfit of the musketeer and would become an icon of the English Civil War. 1600s soldiers were basically Roman legionnaires armed with matchlock muskets, fighting in box formation but casting out hot lead instead of javelins.
