Most people associate upper class elites (which Rome was compared to most of the known world) with the British. That and there really isn't a flashier option.
The problem in the very first part is that all the dead barbarians disappear after they fall. There should be a huge pile of corpses at the Roman ranks. I understand the technical problems, but you'd think by now some clever programmer would have solved this. It is a really good-looking game, though.
It's not that it is hard to add dead bodies but It will cause FPS issues and lag which is why some developer remove the corpses and others keep them on the ground.
@@vh4nz If there was a pre-rendered pile of corpses (in addition to the individual "live" versions of the characters), it seems like it could be loaded in after characters are killed. If the corpses were already loaded, it seems like making them (partially) visible would not be a burden. Rocks and columns are permanent and don't cause issues. I don't think I have EVER seen a game where corpses STAY in place.
The game is wrong, the germani never used elephants, they didnt have even horses because they where so stupid until the arrive of the huns, whose taught them ride horses with stirrups and the composed arrow

this is a 2013 game, very impressive for its time. But yes games should find a way to retain dead bodies with active ragdoll too
