Is In Death: Unchained any good on Quest 2?

A quick review of In Death: Unchained on the Oculus / Meta Quest 2. I keep coming back to this game, and it's unique level generation and progression keep it fresh.

In Death is absolutely one of the top, most addictive and most complete native VR games so far. A true hidden gem with amazing traversal, engaging hardcore combat and perfect bow mechanics and physics, fully based on skill. The better and the more you play, better powerups and perks are unlocked - as well as more dangerous foes and areas. It's a true VR classic going on since early pcvr days and Quest port is pretty stellar.

Games held my attention for some time now 😁As for the procedural generation, it kind of is and isn't. Each stage of a world is pre-configured from a selection of crafted maps. These are then randomly generated in a layout of 2-3 to form the world. I would love true procedural generation in this game!

This game will go down as a staple of early VR. It's as close to perfect as the hardware will allow. That being said it's purely skill based. Wich sadly means it's a bit hard and I suck at it. But I've been playing for 2 years and its still one of my go to games. If you're in the fence about it do you a solid and get this game.

It's been a while since I tried this on a friend's Quest and I still haven't bought it for the refurbished Quest 2 I've had for barely a week now, but I'm 99% sure he had those turned off - he's the 'immersion before gameplay/comfort/whatever' type - when I tried the game so I'm pretty sure there's some settings menu option for that.
