Thanks for these videos! I just bought this serger today! I do want to mention that you absolutely *can* move the knife out of the way. The lady that demonstrated this machine for me showed me how. You have to reach inside and push a knob from the left to the right which disengages the knife, then you turn it away and down toward the back. I hope that makes sense. It's described on page 32 of the user manual.

thank you! i was having the issue of a gap between the cut edge of the fabric and the outside edge of the loops and now i know how to "fix" it!

Mine does note cut the fabric, the knife is there and I move it with the knob in the left but it does not cut. What am I doing wrong?
Mine is very loud. Seems louder than the one in the video
