    I have discovered Demi Deck works better with a stripper deck. Angelo's team is looking in to why some units may not work as well with standard decks. Strippers work great while we're waiting on his team's response. Even so, I cannot put this thing down. It is a blast and I can tell it is going to slay.

      Angelo Carbone has posted a fix on the Demi Deck owner group channel. The fix is kindred to breaking in a new pair of shoes. Afterwards it works perfectly.

    • @RDGTEX
      @RDGTEX 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Angelo just posted to the owners group that he has found a sweet spot at the top rear section of the Demi Deck. Just press on the top of the case when emptying it; the cards come right out without having to expand the tray.

    I have been working with my Demi Deck for a few hours now and really need to review the tutorial again. The trailer is very transparent that you don't have to "hide" anything compared to the detail the tutorial goes into about angles and positioning your hands correctly. Did I miss something - please let me know? Always appreciate you in depth tutorial. Thanks

      Hi David. It’s got a faux leather cover so all good for vegans. And I think the actual case under the cover is plastic. Seems pretty solid.

    A few questions:
    1. Would you be comfortable carrying cards in the box in your pocket as per a regular box? Is it sturdy enough to stand up as an EDC?
    2. Can the box accept a deck of cards in their tuck box? Similarly, could it be adapted to look like the end of a tuck box rather than the end of an unboxed deck?
    3. Is the blade functional ie can you cut with it?

    • @Moviemaniac221
      @Moviemaniac221 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      bump to the first 2 questions
      but i have heard elsewhere the blade is dulled down so no it's not really sharp

    • @RealMagicReview
      @RealMagicReview  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Answered by Movie Magic I reckon. It's fine for carrying a normal deck, but I'd probably choose this only for certain situations.

  • @jrrdlkrd
    @jrrdlkrd 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Mine broke after a week or two. It's clever and all but, I'm not sure it's worth the hype. I watched the tutorial to see if there was info to fix my situation and well it was fun while it lasted I guess and since it doesn't shut now in the draw it goes.

    Hi Steve. Great review! A global is a true craftsman and artist and is right in asking that magi take the time to practice the subtleties to make this a fantastic miracle. I have this and it is brilliant. The idea of practicing one's magic and mentalism is something we should all do regularly. Making an effect the best we can is what we owe our audiences as well as the creators. Angelo, kudos for a genius effect and for a dynamite tutorial! Your friend, David

    I mean, it is pretty obvious how it is working, based off the way the performers are handling it. I would say, just get yourself a good "screwed deck" and you can be way more baffling.

    Isn't it way way too obvious as you what's going on? Even worst that the "end side" of the deck that is supposed to convince looks nothing like a real side of a deck.

    Paul Harris screwed deck (which you can buy) and unhinged deck ( which you can bulid yourself) are a lot nicer, more organic. This carbone thing is an ungainly prop that looks and screams "prop!".

      The angles are a deal breaker for me as well.

  • @sigma9102
    @sigma9102 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

    This thing is way over hyped. It's obvious that the stubby blade simply pushes the cards down. 2:33 blade goes in, gap at top of cards gets tight. 2:45 blade comes out gap returns. I'll pass on this.

    • @hipflipped

    • @sigma9102

      I don't think Tenyo would even release something as lame as this. Angle sensitive..top, bottom, left side, right side. You can get away with it for social media videos and even then I've already seen two examples where the deck is flashed... LOL. Angelo has already said to not post poor performance videos.
