    Thanks so much; very helpful. My favorite deck EVER is the 52-to-1. Absolutely, utterly brilliant.

    Ok. I wasn’t going to purchase this, but I actually saw it Live and it looks pretty cool. Although, it was Magick Balay who showed me this and he could make anything look good. But it’s actually pretty cool. Unfortunately he was sold out.

    This is exactly what it looks like and what it is intended to be. We need to appreciate this was made accessible. Personally I would prefer it was made out of wood and leather with a custom knife quality blade and a few decks of cards related to it. Priced up at around 350 so far fewer purchase it and know the secret. I mean it’s creative as all heck, bloody beautiful illusion.
    No one needs to inspect if you actually “perform” it and then move right on continuing your “entertainment”. If your spectators are left standing there staring at you trying to figure out this new puzzle you are wasting it…IMO of course 😉

      No one needs to inspect if you actually “perform” it - true for ALL magic tricks - well said

    I have had mine for a week. I have not performed it for anyone yet. This is really good. I’m just afraid I’m going to flash!

      you really need to watch your angles

    • @fernymagic
      @fernymagic ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I performed it earlier this week! I have my spectators stand back for "safety reasons" since I'm using a "blade." That provides needed distance for covering angles! 👍

    I have an eyeballing this thing hard... And it's funny you say that you're left-handed because I'm also left-handed, and I completely understand that urge to put it into your right hand because I normally hold a deck in mechanics grip in my right hand.

    Screwed deck is by Paul Harris, not Jay Sankey.

    No matter who performs this effect on TH-cam and no matter how skilled they are -- the handling always appears awkward and tentative. It just doesn't look smooth and natural. Does it to you?

    I would've defenitely bought it since there's been kind of a fuss about it but I think it's a little bit too expensive for my taste when I can easily buy a really good magic book for that price containing tons of tricks/tips. Or buying myself some more svenpads 😆

    Ok so I had to add another comment after doing more research. The basic affect using any deck were you just put the cards in pretend to cut the deck in half then immediately pull the deck back out to show that its intact in my opinion is extremely lame. And almost every performance on TH-cam is that. But the trailer makes it look great because they add so much more by pulling out half of a card put it back in the deck reverse and then when they pull the entire deck out. That one card is reversed....it makes the trick 100 times better in my opinion. With that being said the gimmick cards they give you are not standard bicycle backed cards and i find that to be really weird because in order to do that effect you need to have matching back design

    I was at a magic shop yesterday where I saw this trick demonstrated in front of me. It does look great! but $70.00 is a hefty price. I think zip zag card frame which is a similar effect is better. And a lot more affordable. If you do the Rick Lax version of zig zag card. The card can be initialed by both spectator and magician. After showing card in 3 separate pieces. You can then given away card as a souvenir at the end. Cost about $12.00 for Zip Zag Care frame.

    Deja vu. This review doesn't change how bad the back side of the deck looks so fake when you open the door. That is a huge fail. I am thoroughly confused why a new review of the same. Was the creator hurt because the back side of the deck looked so different and they cried? That should be the "talk of the town." If that has anything to do with the reason, then this is a huge backfire. AND, NOBODY should have to superglue a $70 prop.

    • @magicorthodoxy
      @magicorthodoxy  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      if you want to "weather" the back side it's an easy fix that they cover in the tutorial

    • @UncleBean930
      @UncleBean930 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In the previous review, the method was accidentally flashed. As the new review obviously doesn’t try to cover up anything with the back side where the door is, as it is shown several times, it has nothing to do with the creator being hurt and crying. Therefore, your need to make yourself feel good by posting a nasty sarcastic remark serves no purpose whatsoever. If you’re going to be like that, post your comments in places that nobody reads.

      Hey David,
      Was wondering if you made an error in crediting 'Jay Sankey's "Screwed Deck" which I was unaware of🙄 but actually owned a Screwed Deck, but it was the creation of the Awesome! Mr Paul Harris🤔
      Can you clarify???👀
      Salutations & Thanks in advance of your response💯

    The problem with this, and other novelty items like it, is that the most unusual and mysterious prop always wants to be examined - and in this case, it can’t. So who cares how clever it is or how amazing it looks, it’s a weird prop. Especially that goofy little kids toy blade you carry around.
