I know this video is 2 years old .... I absolutely LOVE that binding. I may play around and do a spin on it. The follow up video is also fantastic. Thank you for the inspiration!

Love your journal! Love the monotone and your end paper, love the lace page edges and the lace on the spine! Poke the end of your fabric strip under the string instead of poking it from the middle.

A small safety pin on the edge of the fabric works great to thread fabric through something. Then just remove the pin when you are finished.

I actually tried this yesterday and it was awesome. I want to use it on my Grungy Bee Journal and so I tried the technique to make a mixed media art jourbal

I will be using this style because I just love the way it looks and it is perfect for someone like me who stuffs their books too full!!

It's a tutorial for me, too! Am exploring binding options to become more efficient...and hopefully to start to love binding my journals. This is my least favorite thing to do. I was wishing she had a little crochet hook to pull up the strings to get the cloth through the holes. lol.

What a nice way of binding a journal
I love the add of lace on the outside of the spine on top of the strings that make a huge difference and have a perfect finished look ❤
