I think this is really good advice on understanding the shapes of your art instead of blindly tracing it without understanding why it looks the way it looks. I think your advice is very helpful even with the giant difference between out styles, I'm prolly gonna try this out later.
Sometimes it's helpful to do that especially when you're a begginer to understand proper anatomy and proportions. I certainly agree that you should just draw for most part in order to use what you learned from tracing and put it on canvas without depending on tracing but your comment gives me more of an impression that you should never trace from anything anywhere and tracing should be like a no no thing which is what I disagree with. Art shouldn't have any solid rules on what is right and what is wrong, you could use it as advice but never bring other people down because they don't follow the same ideas as you
@balloon. I dunno I feel like it's more useful for beginners instead, imo Profesional artists would prolly be skilled enough to not need tracing and their to go choice would prolly be references instead. I'm sure some do tracing but I would question whether they really are a Profesional? But I also don't know what you think a Profesional artist is so maybe that's what makes our opnions different
Oh my god not the yaoi hands

The great part of this technique is that it actually trains you to draw with each tracing!

I don’t remember the name of the song, but it’s just from TH-cam’s music library
Hello I’m using iPad also but I don’t see gradient of colors
You totally skipped over how to go from the drawing to adding the colors.
GYATTT
Many people dislike this "corporate" art style, but I LOVE IT SO MUCH!! I love the simplicity, the exaggerated feature, the colours, everything!
Or just dont trace and just draw
