Thank you for showing the powers of vector trimming. I am a developer on the Fresco team and implemented this feature, so it's wonderful to see how this feature is used by artists! I have one small tip to share. You can also draw over multiple lines when triming to trim many line segments at once. Thank you, Chris!

Definitely have been using vector trimming since using Fresco. Coming from Illustrator app it's just great to have that clean edges and corners. Completely changes your workflow and makes those curved lines so much more natural. I hate using the eraser tool now with a pixel brush. I've gotten spoiled! Great tip to share with the community!

Hi Chris, thanks for the amazing videos and for putting this channel together. I have been trying to go full time as an artist for years, and I have tried many many iPad apps, and nothing clicked, nothing felt natural. I recently caught one of your videos, tried Fresco, and bang, the penny dropped! Fresco feels natural, my artwork has a real presence all of a sudden, and your tutorials have been a total game changer for me.
So thanks again, truly, your vector workflows have reinvigorated my work and inspired me to continue the goal of going full-time!

I’ve customized it a bit, I don’t use the taper settings, I just have my pressure dynamics set so I can get a slight taper by lifting a bit at the end of my lines. @@chris-piascik I've just found your videos and really like them Chris. I was a graphic designer but moved into illustration to. Fresco looks like a game changer, especially for me as I'm being asked to combine the two now. Coming from a fine art background, I could do with some refresher lessons. Loved this part about period, I see this mistake all the time. Your advice is absolutely spot on, people will learn a lot from this channel, it's a gold mine. Thanks for the fantastic content, i've subbed. Cheers Chris. 👍

@chris-piascik Adobe Illustrator has this feature too, but it's damn lengthy. Good for small artworks. This one is so convenient for detailed artwork as well. Thanks a lot.
P.S. - I don't remember when was the last time i used Procreate after I started following you. 😄

Crazy how so many people are just now discovering a function that has been available since May 2020 v1.6

I think Fresco in general has largely overlooked and people have been missing out. Adobe hasn't been great about promoting it and fixing wrong pricing info across different places.

This has been a Toon Boom feature for years - but I had no idea it was in Fresco. What I don’t understand is why this feature is not in Adobe Animate (or is it?), and also why Fresco can have such excellent perspective tools and Photoshop still has NOTHING.

I either bring it into Photoshop, or export a png sequence of my animation and bring it into video editing software.
