It was a great HONOR for me to work with the IMPERIALS ...Armond and I wrote some songs together, and we still talk, about every 2 or 3 week...My favorite Bass singer of all time..Contemporary Gospel would not be the same without him........Yo!

Damn, this dude is freaking lucky to have been part of Elvis singing groups. The more I know about Elvis, the more bigger than life he gets.

I think Elvis was lucky too for having such a beautiful voice in Armond Morales and yes both won the day they met.

@@topsyturvyy4558 Elvis wasn't lucky at all! He has plenty of solo songs with just him and the band that sound world class! He was the superstar with the most beautiful baritone voice of all time. He didn't need back-up singers, but he wanted them. And by doing this he gave all of them the biggest career boost they'd ever have! Printed on their resume: "Back-up singer for Elvis Presley!" Set for life.

It's true, but Elvis' solo songs with just him and the band are world class too. Plenty of them on YT. He didn't need back-up singers, but he wanted them. He gave all of these singers the biggest career boost of their lives! They were set for life in their music careers having this on their resume: Back-up singer for Elvis Presley! 👍

I've loved all kinds of music, even was around in the 200 or 300 early grungers in Seattle, but I'm very grateful I love the music Armond did with the Imperials. It's not my usual style of music but it's always beautiful and spiritual.

This guy is a GIANT in the business. However, he is about the humblest guy I've ever met. I played for him in a church in KY....about TEN whole people in the audience. He sang as though there were 10,000! He prayed for me and complimented me after the meeting. He represented the humility of Jesus to me, just a guy who played with him.

Met this man several years ago, wasn't impressed with his arrogant attitude. He was performing at our local church in Vidalia GA at that time. A young man in a wheelchair wanted this man to pray for him, that all he asked. Armond just looked at him , didn't even pray with him. The man could sing no doubt. Lost all my respect for him.
