    I like how's your intro is improving with more videos. Great work man! Amazing design with great value of money. I would definitely prefer this one as compared to any German brand.

      Thanks! You made my day! Comments like this are a huge motivation for me. I'm super glad you like the intro - I struggled with it a bit while editing. That said - in the future I have some new ideas for the intros, so your feedback is always welcome!
      About the ES: Yes it's amazing value for money! Plus you could save a ton of money while owning it - the hybrid drivetrain is super-efficient. It's one of the quietest vehicles I have driven this year and the ride is amazing. On the downsides, the drivetrain feels kinda unnatural while accelerating - it doesn't suit the elegant character of the ES. I suppose the non-hybrid version doesn't have that issue. And the infotainment could be more intuitive. Otherwise, it's a near-perfect car!

      @@Specproof your welcome! I notice how you choose Japanese kind of music to add the lexus feel in it and change of footage in every drop. Keep working and growing! That's the right word it is a near perfect car! Idk wny but I prefer this kind of interior you know buttons mostly not much fancy big screen. Definitely I would like to buy this in 2,3 years when it drop some price..
      If you get any beautiful car like this or s class which have much great ambient lighting you should then make night pov of it choose my opinion.

      @@dandotson6110 Sorry for the very late reply! Better late than never I suppose. TH-cam didn't give me any notice or I missed it :(
      Again I agree with you - I prefer buttons any day! Screens are cheaper in the end, so I understand why the manufacturers choose to take the screen route. Overall the ES would be a solid choice indeed in a couple of years time.
      I love making night POV drives but I usually get the car for 2-4 hours. And that's usually in the morning. Every time I get the car for at least 24 hours, I always produce a night drive also. And yes the S-class. I'm an S-class fanboy. That said I'm very intimidated to request one for a test drive. A lot of dealers are ignoring my requests and I have a fear that my local Mercedes dealer could do the same. So in the meantime, I just build my channel and gain some courage. There's a W221 available in my local Turo kind of service, I will definitely try that out in the future.
      And I also wanna add that I'm super grateful for your positive and insightful comments! Recently I have received some negative non-constructive comments that kill my motivation to produce videos for the channel. Your comments are huge motivation for me :)

    Really like the interior colour and smooth it is.

      Indeed - I love that interior! Super cosy and the smell of Lexus leather makes you feel even nicer. One of the smoothest vehicles I drove in 2021.

      Totally agree! It's a real shame that they discontinued the GS which was one of my Favorite Lexus models.

    Those controllers in the rear center console is not even available on the Utra Luxury trim in the USA. Rest of the world always gets more car for the money but not US😢

      Wow! Thanks for the info! That's so weird, considering there's a huge market for Lexus in the US and US-spec ES models are built in the US.

    Okropnie ta CVT wyje przy przyspieszaniu. Ile wyszło spalanie podczas tej jazdy ?

    • @Specproof
      @Specproof  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yep - loud engine noise thanks to the CVT is the only major downside of the ES300h. Overall, I had the car for 4 hours, did some hooning and some EV mode driving. Fuel consumption was around 6L/100 km which is pretty good if you ask me.

      In normal use it's decent, nothing to complain about. On the limit the RWD would be better.

    How quiet it is on highway?

    • @Specproof
      @Specproof  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      One of the quietest cars I have driven last year. Only while accelerating you can hear the engine a little more than you need to. Overall it masks speed like a champion.

    • @VILSONDUSEVIC

      @@Specproof Thank you for your reply. Do you hear any road noise/tires? How quiet is the suspension?

    • @RetroEliteGaming
      @RetroEliteGaming 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@VILSONDUSEVIC I have a 2019 its a really quiet car. I do hear some tire noise but that's only due to the tires be worn out. Almost time to replace them. Road noise is about as much as you hear in the video. Plus once you have the radio on that's really all about you be hearing aside from the occasional engine noise when under load. Suspension is very quiet as well just a smooth overall car. You should test drive one.

    Great review !! Does the car feel underpowered ? ( I currently own a 2.0 l diesel audi a5 )

    • @Specproof
      @Specproof  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers! It doesn't feel underpowerd, that said, while accelerating, the engine gets noisy thanks to the CVT transmission. In my opinion that's the biggest flaw of this vehicle. Acceleration noise might leave an impression that the car is slow. Otherwise it moves decently and masks speed well.

      @@Specproof thanks for the feedback my friend ! I currently own a 21' A5 2.0 , nice car but the turbo lag is driving me nuts !

      @Specproof  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@hichsham6848 Nice! I love the A5! The CVT will likely drive you nuts as well. At least it drove me a bit nuts, it doesn't fit the character of the Lexus, definitely at this price point. That said, it's a high-quality product, especially the interior. I would strongly suggest going for a test drive ;)

    Очень шумный, слишком сильный гул на трассе и постоянно что-то барабанит, конкуренты в этом плане намного впереди.

    I need to know if the FWD is annoying and if it is manageable or if it gives issues while driving

    • @Specproof
      @Specproof  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's manageable but you have to adjust your driving style a bit if you're used to RWD. I would recommend you check out Savagegeese's review on the ES300h.
      For me, the biggest issue is the noise while accelerating. It's a super quiet car in general but the CVT doesn't suit the character of Lexus.

    • @Karma-hy6ki
      @Karma-hy6ki ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Specproof I heard the issue was only with the noise was only in the hybrid. As for me, I have driven very old FWD/AWD drive cars and any new car could be an upgrade for me. Thanks for the reply, I’ll go test drive one before a factory order a new one

    • @Specproof
      @Specproof  ปีที่แล้ว

      Only Toyota's hybrid that didn't have the noise issue is the Yaris, IMO. Quite funny, it should be the other way around.
      But yea - defeniteley go for a test drive if possible.

  • @johndoe53831
    @johndoe53831 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Does not sound like a quiet car at all. I hoped that they fix it with facelifting, but there is clear noise of cars passing by and rain. That was the main reason why I did not buy this wonderful, in all other areas, car. That's a shame, because GS and RX were waaay more quiet.

    • @Specproof
      @Specproof  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well in real life it's amazingly quiet. I had to turn up the sensitivity of the microphones by a huge margin because of the low nvh levels. That's the reason why all of the noises are amplified. Otherwise I agree! It's very quiet and luxurious until you hit the accelerator. I suppose that's because of the CVT transmission. In my market, the hybrid is the only option unfortunately. It doesn't suit the character of the car at all.

    • @johndoe53831
      @johndoe53831 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Specproof actually I really like this eCVT transmission as it is incredibly smooth and most of the time in a city you can drive on electric motors only. Hybrids are great solution until electric cars will have proper range and really fast charging.
