Cheers! I would imagine that there are different trims for different markets. This one is an Executive, aka top-of-the-line trim in the Baltics and Scandinavian market. So it's loaded with both off-road features (including the detachable swaybar etc) and also luxury stuff like HUD and rear ventilated seats. I hope that answers your question.

True - the driving position is hard to beat. I drove the new Defender a couple of years ago and I loved the ride / air suspension setup! Then I also drove the second-gen Sport (L494) and again the ride was enjoyable but not as soft as I expected. Maybe its a Sport thing.

It's a nice looking colour indeed! On the other hand - there are no two-tone colours available in Europe.

This "new" Camry (XV80) and 2020 (XV70) are built on the same platform. So they are pretty much the same car. Major differences include front and rear ends plus new dashboard. I personally haven't driven the previous one but I'm confident the rear leg space is the same.

That's a top-trim version. The base price is 38 900. Most buyers are taxi drivers :) Plug-in Prius has a similar price compared to the top trim Camry.

To be honest, I also expected that the 1.5 is going to be slow. That said, it was alright. Totally sufficient for city driving. Not too slow. I also drove the 1.5L Passat the very next day and it felt slightly better maybe because of better transmission tuning/calibration. But in the end I would personally pick something with more power.

@@Specproof I personally don't have problem with 150hp, but 1.5ltr engine. If you try to keep up with the traffic on the German autobahn uphill driving, this engine will give up sooner rather than later. My personal choice would be 2 ltr diesel.

I drove this civic a couple of years ago, so my memory is kinda hazy. But for me, the noise levels were alright and nothing to complain about. It also depends of the tires and what car you drive daily. I drive a 2013 diesel Volvo, so the hybrid Honda could feel like a quiet car for me.

I drove again few days ago, and it was okei too, do you suggsest to buy it ? Is it reailable?

They're definitely odd looking compared to other MB models in that period. I personally think they suit the overall design of the vehicle. But I respect your opinion. What to you think about the R-class headlamps? They're even worse, right?

I have to dig out a magazine where they tested the lights. As far as I remember this X-trail had decent front lights. Nothing ultra fancy but nothing to complain about neither.

Thanks for asking! If you listen again I was talking about the 4 wheel-steering system (rear axle steering) not 4Matic. I was comparing the 4WS with the EQE SUV which had the same system. But it was too artificial and felt weird on the EQE compared to this E here. It was a good system but between two I prefer rear axle steering of this E-class. I also drove the W223 S-class recently which also had rear-axle steering and it was also nicely dialed in. The horsepower figure is from a German version of Wikipedia. On hybrids or PHEVs it's always confusing. I try to use a combined hp figure not simply sum up ICE and electric motor figures.

True - this one has Artico aka synthetic leather. This was a demonstrator vehicle so I don't have any long-time experience with any Mercedes model. As far as I know, the ARTICO is a rather durable option.

On paper, 110kw / 150 hp seems low. It depends on your personal definition of sufficiency. For me, it was surprisingly spry and it did not feel out of breath. I would call it sufficient. But at the end of the day, I would personally pick a version with more power just to be a little more confident. For the record, I also drove the VW Passat with the same engine and it felt less clunky because of the transmission calibration/ tuning. If interested, you can check out the Passat videos I have uploaded. If you're really serious about buying the new Superb, just book a test drive. I personally think it's decent value for money these days.

I hope to drive a Kodiaq soon! TDI vs TSI depends on your driving habits/routes. If you have a long commute or drive long distances often - pick a TDI When there are many short drives - pick a TSI.

@@Specproof avoid the Kodiaq! at least the 2022 model facelift was terrible at suspension and the whole chassis vibrates and uneven road surfaces regardless of Comfort settings in DCC, now the new DCC might solve this... but I doubt... due to the different wheelbase the Kodiaq is in desperate need of air suspension....

I know right! Cloth wasn't available in the USA at all. Only in Europe and probably some other markets.

In the case of German vehicles the standard equipment has pretty much always been better in the US compared to other markets.

As an ex-Mercedes fanboy (the "fanboyism" started to evaporate before the W222 and W205 were introduced) I was very happy when the W214 was introduced. Maybe it was because the newest 5-series is a rather huge disappointment and I fearfully expected the E-class would also be a letdown. Fortunately, the W214 turned out surprisingly good-looking. I think it looks better than the C and S. It's the Same story with the interior. Even better - this is the best-looking E-class interior since the W211. Driving experience, materials, NVH and even standard equipment are worth the high price tag. For me, there were only 2 immediate downsides: The front seats are heated and ventilated but they are half-electrically adjustable: you can adjust the lumbar, the angle of the backrest etc but you have to slide it manually. It's even weirder when the equipment includes air suspension, the superscreen and rear-wheel steering. The second minor downside is only one tiny light in the cargo room. The newest Skoda Superb Wagon has four lights! Wonder how many lights the new E-class wagon has. The air suspension is the best in the business and the rear axle steering doesn't feel artificial or weird like it felt in the EQE SUV. So if you have any doubts - just go and book a test drive.

You're welcome! CLE would be really cool! Especially because it will be much rarer. But true - when it needs to be practical, the E will be a better choice. Are you thinking about the sedan or a wagon?

@@Specproof Where I am, we are unlikely to get wagon. The sedan is here in 200 and 220d options. Found it pretty weird that the GLC200 actually has a higher starting price than the E200.

@@theunown1912 Wow! I didn't expect that! I drove the GLC 220CDI about a year ago. It was a decent car but the E-class is something else.

Great question! Unfortunately, I haven't compared them. I would like to drive the hatchback/sedan version and PHEV in the future. They may have the Matrix headlights and then I could compare them.

Reason Iam asking is that iam about to receive this as a company car in next 2-3 weeks and i had an option to pay extra (of my own money) for mateix which i decided not to. It's alright IRL. The audio of the video will emphasise the noise a bit too much. That said, the all-new Passat is quieter. I also have a POV video about it.

Had the car for 4 hours only. But it is around 5L/100 km on the highway. Not sure about the city consumption though. Check out spritmonitor.de which is a real-life consumption page.

Welcome to Estonia! This type of road is pretty uncommon here. Usually, it is a narrow road with minimal traffic in the countryside.

Great question! The colour of ambient light is not configurable unfortunately. The only available colour is white. According to my local price list there are two types of ambient lighting. General ambient lighting in white comes only in Homura and Takumi Trims. Separate ambient light inside the front doors is included in Comfort & Sound package. I really suggest you to check out your local price list. Because the ambient light part is rather confusing. For example in the UK there's only one type of ambient lighting stated. In the Baltics there are additional ambient light written down and in the Germany it's even more specific.

In Europe there's only the hybrid version available which only comes in FWD form. 1.5 turbo AWD is available in Japan only.

@@Specproof What a shame, in norther europe we have a lot snow in winter and AWD is kinda what people are buying now mostly for suv or crossovers. I did my test drive today with ZRV. Its a nice mid size crossover shame its FWD only, had to skip it because of that. I already have FWD skoda atm and i dont want another winter getting stuck with it :)
