Actually he sued the speed force to reverse time, the running the speed of light is just part of what he has to do to perform this feat which is absolutely amazing to watch.

The nightmare vision you hate was supposed to take place in Justice League II ...where Darkseid returns to Earth, uncovers the Anti-life equation, kills Lois Lane & her child, terriform the planet, kill Aquaman & seduce Superman to turn evil, & have Dr. Poison kill Wonder Woman ...that version of Flash must travel back in time to warn Bruce Wayne (BvS) to ensure Darkseid don't kill Lois Lane ...as she is the key

I don't get why people are so confused and repusled by the Knightmare sequence. It's a brillaint idea for Justice League 2. Batman's worst fear came true, JL being hunted by a mindcontrolled Superman acting as a pawn for Darkseid. It has elements of both Injustice and The Flashpoint Paradox and we get to see how truly terrifying an evil Superman can be and should be thankful in the real timeline he's not despite how he was treated by the people in BvS
Superman was the only reason darkseid did not cross the portal and kill everyone.

New to your channel... I subscribed to your channel. Superman has been my favorite Superhero since I was, like, 3 years old (I'm now going on 73). I grew up with George Reeves "The Adventures of Superman" (1952-1958). He's a very Aries/Mars Hero, mythologically speaking (red cape, red shorts, red boots, and a big red "S" on his chest which became a "symbol of Hope in "Man of Steel" - Mars is the "Red Planet")" No sign is more optimistic than Aries. All his powers are physical (super strength, super hearing, super sight, X-ray vision, super hearing, flying, etc.)... very Aries/Mars - the past is a novel someone else wrote as far as Aries is concerned. Aries is future oriented, just as Superman is ("In time you will help them accomplish wonders" - Jor-El to Kal-El - Kryptonian father to his son - "Man of Steel" movie). As it happens, I have an Aries Moon, which means, instinctually, I really internally identify with this Archetype. I could tell you stories, but I won't here.
At any rate, great review!!! It's just too bad that we didn't get to see JL II and JL III. In JL III we were supposed to see Superman evolve into the "Blue Boy Scout" we all know and love.

Anti-life Equation is the key to control everyones mind in DC universe
When the mother box was falling into the water with Clark/Superman's corpse and Cyborg saw the dark future in a vision, the mother box didn't manipulate gravity and start to rise a little bit from the water. It was The Flash reversing time slightly so he could give it it's electrical charge. -OG

Those apocalyptic scenes are not dreams or premonitions. Those are different time lines that Batman has been to in the future and while all this is happening in our time line both future Batman and Flash are in the future searching for the correct time line in which Darkseid came to earth and acquired The Antilife Equation and turned earth into a copy of his home world Apocalypse. In BvS that future Flash visits Bruce Wayne in his Batcave warning him about Superman and Lois Lane being the key. Because in the future timeline Darkseid uses the boom tubes to enter the Batcave and kill Lois Lane who was being protected by Batman at the time. With Lois dead Superman was vulnerable to the Antilife Equation which Darkseid uses to control Superman. Which is the Superman at the end of the Epilogue.
I gotta say, when Martha turned into J'onn J'onzz, AKA Martian Manhunter, I was surprised, too. I didn't like the first cut of this movie but this one is really good!!

Love the intro of Deathstroke, at the end of this, the irony of it is that the creators who made Deathstroke, for DC comics, were "let go"....got hired by Marvel comics and made Deadpool. 😊

Also, you didn't miss anything hut Suicide Squad. But what you have watched is what it is out there. At most, the thing is that the premonitions are not from another universe but the same universe, a possible future. And that Martian Manhunter has pretty much same powers as Superman plus shapeshifting, invisibility, phasing and reading minds. His weakness is fire though. And a big fear to it.
Stupid WB. By now they have no plans on continuing this story but hopefully will still happen st some point. You never know. This JL movie you watched wasn't supposed to come out and look what happened. We got it! So you never know. :)
The Justice League was too late. Everyone got destroyed (killed) after a parademon got a lucky shot on Flash. Forcing him to break his speed force.
The Flash had to make up for the lost time by going faster than the speed of light and reverse time to save everyone.
We see the ground reforming with each step the Flash takes in slow motion to indicate he's traveling through time. -OG

I love how this movie fills in the plotholes left by Joss Whedon's bastardized Justice League vision by incorporating individual motivation and reasoning for the members coming together to form the League. Also, the black suit looks so awesome with intentional function. Since black absorbs heat the best, Superman chose to wear it before taking flight to absorb sunlight in order to supercharge his Kryptonian cells.

The Knightmare scene in the very end of the movie is not another universe. We've been seeing these knighmare scenes throughout.
In Batman v Superman and again in this movie when Cyborg saw it too when he used the box to bring Superman back.
It's what's to inevitably come unless they can alter the timeline. This movie is supposed to be part 1. Zack Snyder never got to finish his story arc with the trilogy of Justice League parts 2 & 3.
It would have been epic to finally see Darkseid take a more active role. The timeline continues next in the Aquaman movie. Darkseid hasn't come to Earth yet. -OG

Both Suicide Squad movies are worth a watch. The first will give you context about the dialogue between Joker and Batman. I enjoyed both movies, but the second one has been deemed to be the better one (I agree)!
The second one is the better one? It was DCEUs biggest flop until the Flash. The first made $746 million dollars.

Can I give you an advice? Please try not to talk all through the movie and over every single dialogue. You missed key expositions and the questions you asked were answered in the dialogue you spoke over. Anyways just my advice.

@Reembok Reacts Glad you enjoyed these movies. Unfortunately, I have to tell you that this movie is most likely the end of the road for the DCEU. There are other movies you can watch though and some are enjoyable but don't expect them to be as engaging as the Snyder Trilogy.
Here's the list of the other movies and my personal appreciation of them:

Suicide Squad (2016 but still hoping for the release of the Ayer cut some day)

Birds of Prey (if you're a girl)

To finish, concerning Josstice League 2017, now that you have watched ZSJL, you can either do an experiment and watch it now (without forgetting to prepare one or two disposable vomit bags next to you. You'll thank me later...) to figure out how the studio backstabbed Zack and other directors like Ayer, Yan, Muschietti or Wan and how it went south from there as it pertains to the tone and the overall quality of these movies or you can watch all the other movies first and finish with Josstice League. It will also be an experiment of its own but not a pleasant one, i warn you.
It's sad we'll probably never see the end of what Zack had planned but the good thing is his movies have many layers of understanding and they always get better by each viewing...

As a DC fan I have to recommend the DCAU it's way better than the DCEU and in my opinion the DCAU is really the only way to fully immerse yourself into the DC Universe without reading the comics what the DCEU fails to do is give us faithful adaptations of DC's greatest heroes where as the DCAU gives us definitive versions of DC's biggest heroes like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and The Flash who is Wally West in the DCAU instead of Barry Allen it also gives us some of the best writing the superhero genre has to offer the DCAU is definitely worth the watch it's a well written masterpiece that really anyone can enjoy

They did a little better in this movie, but Man of Steel made his origins too dark. The original, non-dark Superman would have been better. I hope the upcoming Black Superman Movie makes him a non-dark character again, and uses the original Superman Theme from 1978. 🙂

What you wanted was made already which was Superman Returns with Brandon Rouche and in joss weedens Justice League and they both sucked with your happy go lucky Boy Scout Superman. 1978 Superman worked because of its time but would not work today. 4. trust Christ alone as your Savior, and not on your own good deeds to get you to heaven
(nor a combination of faith and your self-righteous works).
5. pray to God NOW that you're following these steps because if you die before making this decision, it's too late, and you'll 🔥🔥😰

The Flash movie is more of a tribute to both Zack Snyder and Tim Burton. It has the style of Josstice League though, wich is really sad.
