Hey man great vid helped me a lot with my build. Did you have to prime the johnson? Mine will not bring water in. The inlet is below the waterline as well. Did you have any problems?
mattgodd25 Mine did take a second to start pumping in water. Check the valve on your flo-rite if you have one I had mine set to aerate not pump that was my issue. Once I have that part figured out it worked fine. Could be a bad pump though if it’s not pumping in water. In the future with mine I might switch to bigger pumps probably would do a better job. This was my first build so that’s what I ordered.
@@themichaeltanner I liked the way you did yours, so I tried to replicate it. It was my first as well. I think I may have plumbed it wrong. I never got a good pic on how you did it. I have my red johnson as a stand alone right in inlet. And my other pump with the flowrite to outlet and airate
My Johnson pump I have as the pump in for the tank. I have the holes in the side of my boat so the water is right there. If it’s too high above the water line it will be hard to pump. I don’t think mine is the most powerful. It gets the job done though. The Atwood I have on the pump out and recirc with the florite valve. It’s pretty simple to do the plumbing. Let me know if you have other question? Also send me some pics and I can see if o can figure out what went wrong.
Nice Work. This is the best DIY livewell setup ive seen on youtube.
RV water tank, great idea. I've seen people use coolers, rubbermaid totes and make aluminum boxes.
Tiny Boat Nation is a great resource for ideas.

I may have done it wrong haha.

What was the most expensive part of this livewell?
Probably the Pumps.
The tank was about 60 I think.
