"Of Course I know it, Mitchell, I'm your daugther." I absolutely love Amy. It's sad that people are now loving her all of a sudden because she has passed away. Her voice is timeless, regardless.
At 1:26 the way her voice strikes those 3 words with the tone and 'Sassyness" of of a Jazz singer is incredible for her to be able to do and understand the timimg and knowing when to do it. Especialy at AGE 27..You must understand many artists peak and develope this much much later in their singing career. Due to the fact talent + repetition+Time= A GIFT Her voice sounds and has a texture that of a woman 40 yrs +.. God given talent that we will not see again for a LONG TIME..R.I.P. Amy
it breaks my heart because she seemed to be getting better towards the end of her life ( wasn't doing heavy drugs & didn't look super thin like she was back in '07).
"The first time I met Tone was - can I call him tone? - thanks. The first time I met Tone - should you ask him first, really, before I can start? - ok, the first time I met Tone..." hahahaha that was hilarious.
I still cannot believe she has gone. I can't help watching her every day on You Tube - she was brilliant ....a genius. It is hard to imagine she suffered so badly with addiction when you watch her on this video as it is the best she has looked for a long time. What a crying shame that she never got past it all or mostly WANTED to stop and change her life. RIP Amy
her accent is BLOODY BEAUTIFUL! and this song is the most brilliant thing! omg i'm so excited to see the video and listen to the whole song!!! this one's for you, Amy babe! we all loved you SO MUCH!
My favourite track from Amy. You can tell she is just in heaven singing with Tony Bennett. Their voices blend so beautifully. The perfect track -old school.
Amy had an incredible body and soul. Soul wouldn't be what it is without the body and vice versa. I feel crying that she's gone... I can't believe it !
I recently visited the house where she lived in Camden, London and I felt (and still feel) great after it. To know that she lived right in front of me was amazing and just because I never got to see her love, I feel privileged to have at leat been that close to her. Love you Amy, you are truly missed.
I love how happy she is here, she was so quick witted and funny and oozed talent that so many artists would never be able to achieve in a million lifetimes! Loved her and loved her music, will miss both loads. Happy B'day, R.I.P Amy Winehouse!
THIS is why I loved Amy, she was so warm, genuine...me and my sister just watched that and we're laughing so much - she was such a personality! - I feel sick thinking that shes gone when she had SO so much to give RIP Amy, I Love you forever!
How nice that one of the last video's we have of her is where's she is BANG on form, looking good, sounding amazing and seems to be in a really happy place! Also, she cracks me up the way she's asking if she's allowed to call him 'Ton'! What a woman!
She had so much joy in her eyes:) she seemed to be genuinely enjoying herself, and I'm so glad she felt this and we got to see this before it was all over
Her cockney accent reminds me of Misfits!!! I am tearing up listening to her interview where she talks about the stories of her dad, the blending of the harmonies, and the musical technique. It showed that she truly loved her music and was a talented artist. *tears rollin down da face*
I laugh every time she asks the interviewer off camera if its alright if she calls Mr. Bennett "Ton" You can tell she had a natural, not contrived, sense of humor. Fucking shame the world lost her...
I love how she called her dad "Mitchell" (his name) when she said he asked if she even knew the song. I will miss her smart-ass sense of humor. She was always so silly (=
Amy Winehouse will always be alive thanks to her incredible songs! Thank you mr tonny for inviting you to do the last studio recording of her! beautiful song!
God your missed girl!! I'm so glad she did this it was great to see her back on top form... there's a huge Amy shaped hole in the music world that wont ever be filled .. miss ya aim
This is the Amy Winehouse I will always remember. The voice of a Goddess, but when she stops singing she turns into the girl from Camden with the heart of gold. It will be a long time before someone as talented and kind-hearted as Amy will break through in the music industry. The voice of a generation.
Amy says: "Of course I know it...Mitchell....I'm your daughter". Fantastic! That must make her Dad feel so good. I agree with others, it's wonderful to see Amy so happy here, it wasn't all bad at the end for Amy -- she had what must have been a dream come true kind of day there with "Tone". Makes me so happy for Amy, and feels comforting to know she had such a good time with Mr. Bennett. RIP Amy, you are so missed.
This video gave me goosebumps. Especially when you could see the genuine excitement and happiness on her face when talking about singing with Tony. She was incredibly talented and such a down to earth human being. Amy, we will never forget you! Love you so much, R.I.P.
Especially upsetting when she says, "and I do love it...and it's a song you can do alot with so I was really excited to sing that" with that lingering spark in her eyes. True talents should not go wasted. Long live music.
Utterly jaw-dropping. If there is a better duet in the history of recorded music, I have not heard it yet. As talented as Bennett is and Winehouse was, this performance should rank at the very top of their careers, all the while setting a new standard.
I love her kissing her amulet. Amy, thanks for being your wonderfull self! You were not only one of the greatest singers of the last half a century but also a very very beautiful person!
She was perfect through all stages of her career. Again a splendid performance with so much confidence in it. Whole world will miss her so much. Injustice is everywhere..even in life span..damn it..
Their singing complements each other wonderfully. She looked terrific and sounded even better, in her best Dinah Washington inspired voice. If this was her final work it's a fine memorial. She was a roman candle, beautiful and brief.
I love this song, Amy and Tony's voice go so well together. It's sad she died before her birthday today and the release of this song. Happy Birthday Amy R.I.P.
This is beautiful. The saddest thing for me is to realise that we just forgot to tell her how much we loved her when she was still here; that would make so much more sense than saying this now. People never stop and say 'You're awesome' to someone they love just for the sake of it... Anyway, we love you, Amy Angel. RIP, darling. Can't wait for September 14!
I saw Lady Gaga singing with him recently and I was amazed, she's a great singer. I had no idea because of all the crap she put out before. But Amy was just perfect for this type of music and she loved Tony. Makes me miss her so much
Amy have a good heart... so beautiful & talented... a one of its kind to have such wonderful voice... You will always be in my heart Amy Jade & your songs are timeless... I love u..!!
She was a lovely person. No one ever takes time to notice that. Hell, even her own DAD said he didn't know how talented Amy was until AFTER she passed away. How unfortunate.
Holy shit,...this is so beautiful. Total shivers, and goosebumps... It makes me want to cry. Thank you, THANK YOU Tony Bennett for singing with this beautiful woman, and I'm so glad you enjoyed singing with her, I'm sure we all would have loved to have an entire album with the two of you. What a great loss to music...hell, to the world...such a soul in that woman, it's an utter heartbreaking shame.
RIP Tony Bennett (August 3, 1926 - July 21, 2023), aged 96 And RIP Amy Winehouse (September 14, 1983 - July 23, 2011), aged 27 You both will be remembered as legends.
Notice she wasn't wearing her piercing? it seemed like she was changing away from her 2007 self and closer to the early part of her career when Frank came out. ugh i want to cry when I think about what could have been. it's just not fair.
So glad she got to perform with her idol before her passing.
The way she says "of COURSE I know it, Mitchell, I'm your DAUGHTER. Of course." Makes me crack up every time lol
+harutarosaur She looks so good here.
I love how her voice matured...
She would have made such great records today... The 21st century jazz voice...
The little shrug Amy does at 1:49 ripped my fucking heart out
"Can I call him 'Ton'?"
"thanks."
"the first time i met Ton... should you ask him first?"
LOL oh amy
1:00 Idk, but I find that so cute "we went both nights"
"Of Course I know it, Mitchell, I'm your daugther." I absolutely love Amy. It's sad that people are now loving her all of a sudden because she has passed away. Her voice is timeless, regardless.
Brilliant, she had soo much attitude.
She got to perform with her Idol :) She had amazing talent, her music will live on.
So beautiful and full of life here. Just a few month before she left us. I hate it. I miss her. This sucks. UGH
Yea I have. Just starting her mom's book. It's very heartbreaking, especially in 2011.
I'm sad we never got to see this side of her. She had such a great bubbly, fun personality. RIP Amy. You are a true gem.
Meeting her idol AND then singing with him because he asked. WOW. RIP Amy.
At 1:26 the way her voice strikes those 3 words with the tone and 'Sassyness" of of a Jazz singer is incredible for her to be able to do and understand the timimg and knowing when to do it. I didn't listen to her music but reading these comments shows she has really great fans and she was a good person . She had a beautiful voice RIP Amy
I've seen many Tony Bennett collaboration with young artist on youtube. But always comeback to this one. Tony & Amy.
Just Perfect.
❤❤❤
her accent is BLOODY BEAUTIFUL! and this song is the most brilliant thing! omg i'm so excited to see the video and listen to the whole song!!! this one's for you, Amy babe! we all loved you SO MUCH!
Her personhood, her aura, her beauty transcends me into the next world.
My favourite track from Amy. You can tell she is just in heaven singing with Tony Bennett. Their voices blend so beautifully. The perfect track -old school.
Mmmm... As far as I know Tony Bennett is still alive... Am I wrong?
Of course Tony is still alive... lol i can't stop laughing....BTW i wish Tony live 1000 years...
it seemed her voice was lower, deeper than Tone's. Lovely blend.
@@KindCountsDeb3773Her voice sounds tired, I mean she did do drugs for a few years then quit but stayed with the alcohol.
we all die, some too soon, others too late, I guess; people we love and who make such master pieces, like Miss Winehouse, will always be remembered...
Amy had an incredible body and soul. Soul wouldn't be what it is without the body and vice versa. I feel crying that she's gone... I can't believe it !
nice to see amy enjoying her singing with one of her heros.r.i.p.amy still enjoying your music
Nobody out today understands music like Amy did!
She is so genuinely funny! Love this girl,, worst lost of this decade, R.I.P.
rip amy you did your best honey life is not easy even for a celeb but you tried, your up in heaven singing with all the legends
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've fallen in love with her marvelous voice! I love her british acent!
Beautiful but sad, because you know that Amy is now gone. She left a short but bitter sweet legacy. This is a lovely way to remember her.
R.I.P., Tony Bennett. I hope you are somewhere crooning with Amy.
This made me cry! Amy was beautiful and its tragic that she wont make any more music
I recently visited the house where she lived in Camden, London and I felt (and still feel) great after it. To know that she lived right in front of me was amazing and just because I never got to see her love, I feel privileged to have at leat been that close to her. Love you Amy, you are truly missed.
Amy Winehouse 4EVER !!
RIP Amy. More people need to see this, her talent next to his.
Great lady of jazz & blues!!! So sorry she´ve left us so early!!!
Queen of soul.

such a beautiful voice and beautiful soul. Such a sad loss.
Its weird how she got to sing her dads favourite song before she died, but beautiful how everyone has this to remember her by
Aww she was so beautiful, and she sang so beautifully! i dont think she realized how great she was! GONE TOO SOON! RIP AMY!!
nuevamente....hermoso.

Rest in Peace Amy, the woman with the most remarkable voice of the last decade
She may physically be gone, but her soul will always live on through her music.
I laugh every time she asks the interviewer off camera if its alright if she calls Mr. Bennett "Ton"

Too fragile, too beautiful, too big a talent for this world. R.I.P Amy Winehouse i love you and ill never forget you :( Happy birthday
❤

Happy Birthday Amy! You could have been 28 today. We miss you soul girl! Definitely getting the single once it gets out.
Amy, I wish you were still alive, sharing your beautiful voice with us. Rest in peace. We love you and we miss you

OMG I It is like she is still here, how nice to hear and see another video of her. I just can't get enough of her. Thankyou for posting this.
Artista! Always was, always will be... You sing with every part of your ''Body & Soul''! Your voice is everything to me, Amy...

Amy was so great that she will never die in our heats!
If she had survived he would have been making an album with her.
Stephen Dean I believe he did ask Gaga to record one with her before Amy died but yes I think you would be right in that assumption.
Jed Shattuck better yet, an album with all 3
I love her kissing her amulet. Amy, thanks for being your wonderfull self! You were not only one of the greatest singers of the last half a century but also a very very beautiful person!

Beautiful chills
Today my heart is truly sad and lonely.
She was a lovely person. No one ever takes time to notice that. Hell, even her own DAD said he didn't know how talented Amy was until AFTER she passed away. How unfortunate.

Oh beautiful Amy, how I love her and miss her so much!! Amy is irreplaceable.
