FRIED CHICKEN mushroom to PERFECTION!!

Lyophyllum Decastes (chicken mushroom) is a delicious mushroom tends to grow by the gravel road in large clumps.
texture: meaty, crispy
caps large, wavy, grey to brown, silky, non-sticky
Stems: Eccentric, whitish on top, brownish grey towards bottom.
Gills white to light grey
spores: white
No universal veils or ring
Cook well.
Health:
In studies rats fed this mushroom show decreased cholesterol, cancer rates, triglycerides.
This mushroom also demonstrates protective benefits for people on chemotherapy to have far less side effects.
In Japan, they are used for environmental clean up after toxic spill as well.
