That Tudor rose farthing just amazed me. I'd come if I were younger and richer and search the Thames estuary for one of my own. Look. Good on you Simon. I love your videos and this one was wonderful. Thank you for your work.
Hello SI that rose farthing ,and the George the 111 penny are superb ,,,what a great mudlark you had ,well done ! just watched Nicola and Richards talk on pottery finds , good old river Thames the river of dreams !
Ive said it to Nicola White, but you're so lucky with your finds...I live in NZ and we are far to young for larking like you happy few....love your videos so I can vicariously join you on your ramblimgs 💜
Good morning, Si! It’s a beautiful fall morning in southern Utah..the leaves have all turned glorious colors and many are dropping to the ground for their winters nap. Always nice to enjoy your newest videos...they’re inspiring and exciting! Deb
Good discoveries gentlemen. No shortage of saving history. Enjoyed seeing you break out the medal detectors to search for coinage. Thanks for sharing your skills and knowledge. Looking forward to your next episode.
Damn Si you were a bit of a fumble fingers that day lol Nice finds from the foreshore Thanks for sharing Mike from Texas,Take Memories,Leave Footprints
Love the music too. Your mudlarkers fingerprints are wearing off and making it hard to hold onto the coinage! Slippery..... falling back in the mud. Great finds again. Blessings
Awesome finds!!! Love, love how you put you videos together, so artistic and fun and interesting to watch. You were some lucky with your finds that day although clutsy. LOL
Brilliant finds today, Simon! The coins are simply amazing. What pleases me most, however, is the fact you and Matty both found your lost marbles! (The music at the end was indeed enjoyable.)
Chill Bill always talks about the double turnwa's . Now I know what they look like. Cool. Great finds. I cleaned out my old European coin box (a cigar box from sometime in the 30's) and I have several British coins that are relatively new. Some 1 pound coins and some from the Bahamas, India, and Ireland. So pretty. Our coins are boring.
That George III penny is gorgeous. And Louis XIII double tournoi is in good shape as well. Very nice finds. I will have to look up the Louis for sure. Nice bit of foreshore there
thanks for sharing Si, & Matt, wonder if the first piece is part of incense burner, super coin finds and pipe frags. The final I think is a bag seal, but could be wrong. Well done you both. Cheers.
Hi Simon! The second led token...I think its a protection token...you see the four elk-runes put together like a cross. A very powerful rune by it self and put together like this it is for great protection. Thanks for all great videos..its so nice to follow..enriching (is that a word?), I always learn new things..love your laugh and loving person...and your humor!🤪 Greetings from Sweden! 🇸🇪 We dont have tide here...so, nice to follow you..
What a good luck inna muck day Si Finds! A great and fun video! One of these days I'm a comin over there, get a permit and try my luck inna muck! Don't have the range of items here, that 1774 half penny would be a great find here but common there. But what great detail that copper has, amazing. And being sloshed about all those years. Some good copper I'd say. There is thousands of years old Native artifacts that can be found but with no till farming, fertilizers and acid rain, it isn't as easy as before. Along the Susquehanna River life can be traced back 15,000 years but with the dam system there, lots is under water. An archaeologist friend of mine found a beautiful Susquehannoux Native clay pipe. Some stone pipes, axes, knives, drills, banner stones and other stone artifacts have been found and other sacred objects. Life was so abundant along the Susquehanna that only 3-4 hours a day was required to sustain ones self. The rest of your time was spent being your creative self and thus, high end arts. When the first traders arrived, Dutch and French, metal items are found and points went from stone to metal. Lots of trade beads and some Native made from clays, bones shells and the like. It is believed there were approx. 2,200 tribes in America when Europeans first arrived. But our ancestry and the artifacts left by them is a very interesting and historical adventure indeed. Thanks Kindly to you Guys with your great finds. I'll bet Nic the Thames Pipe Queen was a bit envious of your pipe collection for the day, eh? Love, Light,Peace and Gold inna Muck! DaveyJO in Pa.
Great finds today, Si! The waves rushing up and retreating makes the pebbles, glass pieces and pottery fragments sound like a musical ensemble. Very nice. The button marked Ne plus ultra (rough translation= none better or of highest quality There was a clothing company in the Late 60s or Early 70s with that name. My fave find of yous today was the pipe bowl shaped like a partly open flower. Maybe it was designed for ladies? Thanks for taking us along on your mudlark!
Amazing coins man. Wish the half pennies I dug out of the ground in the states were in as good of shape as the ones that you find. So cool to be able to find something so old.
Si-finds Thames Mudlark No problem, and I would say my best find is a 1699 William the third half penny. Found it on my grandparents property in Connecticut. I’m happy with anything from the 1700’s that has a visible date. I’ve found more rare coins like a 1793 Liberty cap large cent, but I prefer coins from the time before America was independent.
Just love to watch mudlarking!! Not many place in The States that I'm aware of for Mudlarking.. And of course no where near the awesome early years like in the UK. HH Thanks Si for sharing.
This is **sooo cool!** I'm in New Zealand and with us being such a young country, you'd **never** find anything like that here. I'm very envious of the UK and its long history - it seems like you can dig almost anywhere and find "Roman this" or "medieval that".......
j4d3 goat me too. I used to do a version of mudkarking when I was a young teen. I live in Phila. So there’s some history here. But we’re a very young country too.
Si - Some great coin finds and it looked like a fairly productive day out for a hunt! That KG 3rd copper was amazing & the Rose Farthing was nice too! Take care & H.H.!
I still can't get over how anything survives the waves over the rocks.1:37 I swear that looks like an Insalater for an electric fence, But I'm probably way wrong.
Hi, Si. Wonderful finds today. You’re on a roll today with the marbles, buttons, pipes, and coins. That little piece of pottery might be from one of those little castles placed in fish tanks for decoration. Try soaking the Swiss Army knife in vinegar and salt overnight, then scrub with steel wool, wash and oil
Love the pork pie! And rose farthing. I agree with others that your mystery pottery looks like a Chinese building. The holes are windows. ( I could be way off! Justva guess) The piece of glass reminds me of a penny lick. Monica might be able to tell you.
You all found a lot of history.i think that is a little house. Wonderful finds your friend Shirley from new Bern, north Carolina USA. Stay well and safe❤❤🎉🎉😮🎉🎉😅🎉🎉😅😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
It has been Sunday time to sit back watch wat Tames shares with us all today. Cant beat it especially with cold flu in our house so its day for bed enjoy history been revealed rediscovered cheers thanks many regards from Ireland D1 Patriot.🇮🇪☘🙊Godbless 🙏
Awesome coins. Very good condition for their age. 👍 The white glass piece that you said looked like a handle could be the well worn remains of a penny lick for ice cream. I have seen some examples with the same shape, but higher sides in the concave area (probably broken off). I looked them up after hearing about them in one of Nicola's videos when she was out mudlarking with some friends.
gonna be honest - when you found that swiss army knife, my initial thought was "that's one of nicolas lost trowels!". turns out it wasnt, but it was still a neat find! 😋
Wow, amazing finds today, Si.Always enjoy your videos, especially with Nicola.
I am always surprised at the quality/history of your finds. The River seem to renew its contents every day. Great 👍🏻 ❤
I love that the Thames is still giving up these treasures after so many years of dredging flooding etc.
I find it fascinating to be able to hold a piece of 300 to 400 year old history in your hands.👍🇺🇸
Loved all you found , I want to be a mudlarker sadly can’t walk so I’m just happy to go along with you tfs xx
What a good haul! The stars of the show have to be the coins for me, stunning! Thanks for sharing 😀
The Thames...the gift that keeps giving. Love from Pasadena, California.
Love the way you display your finds at the end 🤗🤗
It was coin day, Simon! Lovely finds and great conditions for their ages. I think of each find as a surprise present 🎁!
Ive said it to Nicola White, but you're so lucky with your finds...I live in NZ and we are far to young for larking like you happy few....love your videos so I can vicariously join you on your ramblimgs 💜

Mike from Texas,Take Memories,Leave Footprints
Love seeing you all out there, finding all the goodies and taking the time to share it with us. What a day! Cheers!
Great finds! Especially the ink pot and the coins. The Pagoda like thing looks like an ornament for a fish bowl
Thanks for another Great Lark...You always make it interesting! Thank you for sharing your treasures..
Si, I need a poster of you and your mate to stick up on my bedroom wall and swoon over 😍
Terrific finds! Luv the ink pot and all the interesting coins! I could spend hours looking !
Great finds there boys. Love the George 3rd coin, lovely condition Mr Butterfingers!
I appreciate the close-ups of each item as you found it, kinda fun to try to figure out what it is along with you. :-)
Great day Simon and thanks for taking us along.
Doug Alexander my pleasure mate
Very nice coins 😍
Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭
Awesome finds Si..and the coins! Excellent! 👍🌞✌️
👍awesome si great day you again stay blessed and enjoy your time mularking
Great video Si. Nice would love the pipes!!
1:57 the Pagoda shaped thing, wondered if it’s an incense holder ?
agreed
Me too.
Thanks Si. Nice coinage! Pork pie ink wells are great.
As usual I love your vids! Great finds today.🥰
There were some garnets too by the rose farthing.
Love the music too. Your mudlarkers fingerprints are wearing off and making it hard to hold onto the coinage! Slippery..... falling back in the mud. Great finds again. Blessings
Fingers probably get numb after awhile, too. ☺
Wow, Si a great day, thank you.
Awesome finds!!! Love, love how you put you videos together, so artistic and fun and interesting to watch. You were some lucky with your finds that day although clutsy. LOL
Definitely a coin day for you, great video, always looking forward to them....Thanks
Great finds. Nice to see the double tournois in great condition. Since Chill Bill finds them most unrecognizable. Luckily, he knows his coinage.
Hey Si- IMHO the little pagoda object is almost certainly "scenery" to go inside a small aquarium for tropical fish.
Yes it is i have that one in my tank.
Another amazing video with some great finds. Loved the George 3rd coin especially.
Brilliant finds today, Simon! The coins are simply amazing. What pleases me most, however, is the fact you and Matty both found your lost marbles! (The music at the end was indeed enjoyable.)
Looks like a kimono sash belt thing. They use to have a bag and the toggle slipped under the kimono belt and then over the top to secure the bag
So let me know if I was right or wrong Simon
I believe they're called Japanese "Netsuke's".
Thank you Mr Pagrant

Juadonna Henry Thank you! Yes the sound of the waves is other worldly!
I'm surprised I haven't seen this one yet. Always a fun video with you two. I hope you both are well

Haha, we make it look easy - but there are LOTS of fruitless hunts too!
j4d3 goat me too. I used to do a version of mudkarking when I was a young teen. I live in Phila. So there’s some history here. But we’re a very young country too.
Oh, my! You found quite a hot spot today! Well done!
Awesome video! Yeah the coins look nice!
Nice finds guys. Beautiful coins!
Great finds guys, I’m a new subscriber, keep your vids coming, love the mud larking scene
Glenn Evans Welcome Glenn!
my goodness, dropsies was your thing this day, but hey awsome finds, love it, thanks Si

Perhaps a small castle, Chinese temple or even miniature birdhouse decoration for an aquarium?
I enjoyed your latest video Si
Fore Shore 🙂🍻👍🏻
Some nice coins Simon, well done !
Love the pork pie! And rose farthing. I agree with others that your mystery pottery looks like a Chinese building. The holes are windows. ( I could be way off! Justva guess)

“Drop it like it’s hot”....and yes, they are hot finds!!! Well done 👍
It must be cold, you keep dropping things! Butterfingers, lol
Fun day! Matt is such a cutie!😉
I thought the Pagoda thing might be to hold quill pens. Handy for the ink jar you found. 😂
Nice coin finds there. Some in really good shape. Looks like you had the dropsies there. LOL Really good finds. 👍
@13:46 that bit of handle is ivory. the wood grain pattern on the end gives it away, bone doesn't form like that but ivory does.
Robert Worley Thanks Rob! Sad that it’s Ivory, but as was the way back then
I would need a closer look but it may be from a tooth or tusk not related to African ivory trade. it could be from a whale or even walrus.
it is very heartbreaking what has been done to the elephants and rhinos for ivory. I still treasure the pieces I have come across.
You could do a tiny bit of carving on it Si ?
I treasure all ivory I can get. no reason for them to have died in vain. what has been done can't be undone.
That small ceramic mystery piece you found with the holes in it...i thought at first when you pulled it out of the mud it was a vertabrae😅
Banner of a day !!................ good for you
Butter fingers ,lol, brilliant finds,
Hello 😉 your 1658 double tournois is in a very good condition 👍🏻 great hunt thank you for sharing 🙏🏻 Françoise from France 🇫🇷
Domus 29 Merci mon ami
Come sempre i tuoi video sono belli e interessanti😉😉😉
Thank you for another great video, I love watching the bits of history you find.
Could that bit of glass be a Penny Lick?
Loving the new theme tune fella...! grew on me since last listen... Sweeeeet... Jam on the horizon i reckon...
Sean Watcham Cheers dude! You been out much?
@@Sifinds Bit slow, been on the new permission, trying to find the hot spots.. but haven't found them yet.!
@@seanwatcham8308 If you want a hand just shout mate 😃
Si, how do you store/display your findings
I love watching Nicola's studio with all her finds . Do you do something simular.
Paul Oneill Thanks Paul. Wishing you well bud!
I’m sure there’s another couple of coins at the 2.12 mark? Easy to say from the comfort of home!
Awesome coins. Very good condition for their age. 👍

I'd be tempted to turn that rose farthing into a necklace pendant. Already has the hole in it!
Always interesting.
The metal rectangle with the pointed end could be from a dress clip or a fur clip.
Were the clay pipes disposable way back when? There seem to be so many. Love the ink well. Lucky you Si. Superb indeed! 🇿🇦
Ok, so they were disposable. Still very beautiful after all that time. Brilliant. Thank you 🙏
There's some old straight pins right by where you pick up that button
Hi guys ;
The decorative stoneware fragment might be an incense sticks holder for religiouse purpose..
Best regards from Morocco 🤗
'ne plus ultra' is a Latin phrase meaning the best of the best. Use it in a sentence? sure ... This is the *ne plus ultra* of mudlarking channels!
Marcel Audubon Thanks Marcel!
i cant believe you missed that shark tooth with the pipe find
