Nothing, they are two very different concepts that are independent from each other. Sexual orientation determines which gender(s) you are attracted to. Being cisgender or transgender is about your own identity. But I suppose you asked this question because you do not see what gay men and lesbian women have in common with trans women and men. Well, as the abbreviation LGBT states, our community is made of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Transgender people (usually, the abbreviation also adds Q for "Queer" and "I" for "Intersexual"). What links us together is our "otherness" - we are minorities and we all experience discrimination in this very binary, heterocentric, patriarchal world. So, even though our personal struggles are not identical, we all face the same oppressor and might as well join forces to fight discrimination together. Does this clear things up for you?
Non è il paese piu' avanzato d'Europa, gli stipendi sono bassi e non c'e' molto lavoro. ma in fatto di diritti e di accettazione verso la comunita' LGBT è il numero 1.

Spain has indeed made huge strides in several social domains. Like the prevention and education against sexist / domestic violence. Things like lessons for men about respectful nontoxic masculinity, fatherhood, etc. With an entire system or chain to protect women against violence, including a real path with help for violent men instead of just a simple prison sentence. They've really thought about multiple aspects of the problem, from education to physical prevention and proper dedicated task forces that take the issue very seriously. There were reports in France about the way Spain is tackling this particular issue, and others. The country is a great example to follow on these subjects, kudos Spain ! What we should do more often in EU for subjects that are held at the national level is to look at all member countries to identify which ones have found great solutions for several issues and copy what has succeeded as closely as possible, instead of trying to reinvent the wheel every time while claiming that "we're different so we can't import their way of doing things". Let's try doing the exact same thing first before claiming differences and saying it's not possible to do the same...
