There will most likely be a loot buff regarding her components next week. It's imo a gimmick move to coerce people into buying her instead of farming for her. What annoys me is that there's no tutorial or guidance for the missions... it's a normal operation with additional bullcrap, nothing new except a different type of annoyance. It's a lot like the WoW expansion pre-order debacle that recently came out, and now, just as "poor" players are finally getting their turn to play, they nerf the xp/ make the game harder... like... greedy much? I think Hailey is worth the effort, but not worth the hassle... she might as well be an Ultimate at this point. God.. thinking about Ultimate Hailey... yeah... I might as well skip this whole season if THAT's they way it's gonna play out.
I work a 40-hour week and a full-time parent single father. I have maybe 2 hours a day if I'm lucky to play. There is no way I have a character that is strong enough to take on the massive mobs of those car emissions. I can't even get past. The first Haley mission because every time I get on those colors I die. These missions are not casual player friendly. They are quite the opposite and if I can progress at all this season then what's the point of me playing the game.
What character are you running? and what modules do you have on? I would throw on a HP DEF and Shields module and use the best gun you have. Next week they are making it so you can do it with other people if you still need help by then and im on I can always jump on and help you out!
The base game content was pretty bad. I honestly don’t why people tricked themselves into thinking this was going to be good. Falling right into expectations.
I agree the Solo puzzle was pointless, if was in a group puzzle would have been a good idea. Other than that Invasion is most for daily play for gold and getting Hailey fragments is nice plus to the loop.
Personally, I don't mind Hailey taking a long time. I see it more as a passive farm. It only takes 20-30 minutes out of my day and I can move to farming other stuff I actually care more about, like more ultimate weapons.
I'd rather purchase skins instead of descendants... but 20-30 min when you only have a 3h period to play each day is a pain in the ass. I'm not gonna "buy my way to success", if that's the case I might as well just watch the highlights of someone else playing the game, and save money and time, whilst still getting the satisfaction of seeing the loot drop. I also understand the idea of her as a passive farm... but it's basically just "buy her" or wait till you eventually get her in ~12 days of constant playing. I think that's a bad way of introducing content. I was hoping it's just a chance to get the BP for each component... but no, it's worse than that AND time gated.
Yeah, I don't really care about Hailey. My biggest issue is that they should have given us something cool from the mission, a weapon, skin, or something. The gold is nice, but lol

The drop rates in this game have been bad from day 1, You do 15 outposts without getting a single pattern and yet they have it posted at 25%, Right my ARSE
The pillars missions is really only annoying at the boss. Having to stand and face tank a moss while waiting for that thing to charge up is not good. Time gating things will always piss off the community. Not sure why they don’t know that
Sharen on the pillar mission is the key. Max duration, max cooldown. Use her ult on pillar. Go back in invisible wait for the bomb to explode. Easy kill.
They pay wall Haily on purpose. They did it because they know that the f2p players won't be able get her, so that they'll spend real money. Nexon already straying off path already of listening to players

SInce You can get hailey component at specific hard mission. I tried to do it. but god the drop rate is awful. I max out stabilizer at that kingston hard dungeon like 2x before i get 1 hailey component. The component drop rate are worse than stabilizer which is 2% ig.
People have reported doing 15-20 missions without getting a haily part. guess 10% chance on mission clear. 144 parts would require almost 1500 missions...

Yeah, I agree. I wished instead of Hailey parts, we got something you could only get from the mission, but other than that, the Gold is nice.

Make a normal mode with current drop rates. Increase the drop rates at current difficulty, it's the most simple solution

There is also RNG into which material you will get, so 11 days is if you get 4/4 gold medal and everytime the material you require

You can get character pieces by doing regular hard missions as well. It's not perfect, but you can do that.
