Hello Florency, I tried this curry which I grew up eating. It turned out well however, my currey was not orange, but more brown- why do you think? Also my curry was more of a thick gravy rather than flowing liquid- where am I going wrong?
Hi Florency, liked your recipe very much. A small suggestion, whenever you add any ingredient to the recipe, please show the quantity to the camera so that one can visually see it how much you add other then writing.
Hello, Jerome, thanks for your interest in my recipe :) Water can be added if necessary; I suggest dry grinding first (the soaked tamarind+its water may suffice for the initial pulses) and then, if the need arises, add water to form a thick, smooth paste. Hope that helps💫

It looks real Goan fish curry
Yes, it is dear !😀
Did not use oil at all? If the masala paste is not fried does it not retain the raw smell OR does boiling remove it?
Add a bowl of steaming hot rice to this curry & you've got yourself an awesome meal!
Hahaha! True that, Winnie💫

Hi Florency give us your xacuti masala
Can i use kokum.instead of tamarind?thk u
Hey Khursheed, you can use whole kokum, but don't grind it with the masala. It will change the colour of the gravy.
Would the weight of fish be 1/2 kg ?
