We made it to the SEMI FINAL! We were absolutely delighted with our performance in our audition, and we couldn’t be more excited to perform for the semi-final! We wanted to challenge the ideas that people have about Irish dancing and showcase how modern and versatile it is.
The Semi Final means we were competing head-to-head against Angelica Star! We think Angelica is absolutely incredible and we definitely have to bring our A game to come out on top in this match up! For this piece, we wanted to showcase the intricacies of our art form. We decided to create a concrete jungle and use the set to tell a story. The idea was to have a battle between brothers, and to see who came out on top… but in the end, we realise that we are stronger together. So, there can be Only One King, but we can share the crown!!
We were very humbled to have gotten through to the FINAL which is in 2 weeks! We are very proud of the work we have done so far and cannot wait to put a new piece together for the Final of The Big Deal. Hopefully we can do enough to raise our bar once again and impress the judges one last time! We better start working on new choreography for the next round!

To me the Gardiner Brothers are SO awesome Michael and Matthew are a force to be reckoned with!, Incredible on point dancers! They have their own unique explosive highly entertaining style! These guys r totally amazing! I started tap dancing when I was 3 years old and took lessons until I was 35. For some reason I stopped, but u know what, I think I'll start lessons again. The Gardiner Brothers r so inspiring. I hope they win.
Oops! I forgot to say that I'm 66 now. It's been 35 years but hey u never know huh!
I, personally, have always liked tap! I saw several clips of the Nicholas Brothers would entertained back in the 50s I think. Gregory Hines and family were the last of the tappers! I thank Gardiners for introducing a modernized way of performing the dance (M. Flatly not withstanding)! You make watching it so enjoyable!

I had chills watching this performance. Their storytelling in their dance routine is outstanding.... For they intertwine class , passion, flawless technique, panache and skillfully reel in one's attention. They have a bright future ahead of them.

They've become part of my daily routine of enjoyment, prepping in the morning for work, infusing an amazing amount of energy and joy to how ever watch their talented 21th century Irish dance. Just seen these guys in person performing with Riverdance, they were amazing!!!! 👏 🏆🎉 They not only danced but one was playing a drum & they were both singing with a group as well!! Loved they're performances with the American Tappers!!! Best part of the night for me!!! Loved it guys, but where did u go for the final performance & applause??! Wanted to give you a big cheer!!! Wathing you, one word kept returning to my mind: "free". You must be an inspiration to many young lads who thought that Irish dance was constricting, but in you they saw it as liberating. If you go further in bridging it with other styles, who knows, what happens.
