Victims’ Rights in the Criminal Justice System - Marsy’s Law

The Victims’ Bill of Rights, also known as Marsy’s Law, was enacted in California in 2008. Marsy’s law gives victims 17 rights in the California Constitution, yet many victims are not informed of these rights.
