Good discussion, but I wish when this topic was brought up, the speakers would describe how they know they're attracted to someone. I think the word can mean different things from person to person.

Ah… we’re all different! A guy that fussed about himself with lotions and potions and banging on about the gym…. run, run, run!!!😂😂😂😂
But!…. He must be clean and know how to laugh at himself. Personally I like a rugged man with a good character. And def… a man who is solid in Christ because that makes you feel safe. Spot on with the safe thing Cassandra!

This one is so fascinating.. sorry to pop up on the comments again 😜… but I’m in the older generation where men never talked about personal care etc and I still think ‘ oh for the days when men were men and pansy just the name of a flower’ … so physical attraction definitely plays a part. Let’s face it, if you go on a date and they are the opposite of what you like - for me it would be feminine hands, fussy, warbled on about their gym routine, or how many vitamins they took, the date would be dead in the water. But give me a man who can hold an interesting conversation, jump around topics, laugh immoderately but then is serious and committed about his faith…. I’m in! Add in emotional maturity and a rugged exterior…….. but maybe that’s why I’m still single!😉😂
Wish this was an open topic!😜

I appreciate you guys creating this podcosts but I don't understand the rating, because it cant exist without promoting comparison. I work with teenagers, we need to stop doing this to ourselves so they don't follow.
It's true that some people are more attractive than others, but i really don't see how putting numbers on humans helps anyone.

Never rate people out of 10 it's totally sh*tty. Don't call someone ugly that Jesus has called precious. Be honest about the fact that you might not find someone attractive and that we are all bombarded with beauty norms that are tbh either unobtainable or unsustainable. Try and look for character and integrity. I'm not denying that attraction is important, I'm just saying 'be transformed by the renewing of your mind' in this area. Cassandra when the babies come you will not be wanting hubby to be going down the gym.. The CEO energy thing ..power money influence is again... an illusion. Most CEOs I've met are highly flawed individuals which huge insecurities who care very little about people. Very few have great characters. And earning over 100k isn't all that. Ask instead.. would this guy or girl sacrifice themselves for me and would I do the same for them? Stop concentrating on fake beauty. Stop feasting your mind on rom coms or p*rn that makes your mind think someone needs to look or be a certain way to be attractive. Rant over...

Rant away! We love it when people join the conversation.
I think you've met the wrong CEOs! The ones I know started their company out of a passion to change things for the better - it's a real sacrifice to put your own comfort and security on the line to serve others.

@@be_salt I guess I was referring to CEOs of big businesses that I've worked in. And you're right there are good apples too..
