I really loved the victorian setting, and it also started an amazing modern day story which is perfectly connected to the previous storylines and brought back familiar faces. It's shame they put this storyline into the comics.

I love this song because its lyrics are very emotional considering that everything revolves around an ideological conflict that for centuries claimed thousands and thousands of lives for both sides who, regardless of their reasons, believed they were fighting for the right thing to do, and it is through of their memories that they have to 'relive' their hard lives to continue that war in modernity, as if they opened their graves over and over again to be interrogated, interrupting their well-deserved restings
This song makes me wish that Rebecca, Shaun and William were the new protagonists after Desmond. The modern ending for Syndicate would have fit with this narrative so well. A missed opportunity.

No, people, you are not the only one who enjoyed the game and not the only one who think Syndicate is one of the best AC games. But probably there are few who actually think that it IS the best part. Funny thing is that I'm not really into the history of England and I stated that there is nothing Ubisoft can do about it - I was sure that I would hate this part. And now this bloody clock is so nostalgic, it instantly makes me want to play the game again.

Love the song, brings back some memories. My father used to sing a similar thing to me as a lullaby when I was a child however it was just the "underground, underground" part and it went like "underground, underground, we're all going underground" or "let's all go underground". Just that part over and over again with that exact same melody until I fell asleep. I don't know why those were the words, but it did the trick most of the time.
I was playing this game and watched the last cutscene of the story where this played. I decided I should keep playing to finish some side content so I walked into one of the pubs in the game and this happened to be playing in it. It was a really nice moment. Say what you will about the story, but the open world is great and filled with little moments and details like this that make it great. The devs did a fantastic job with making London feel alive.

It's my absolute favourite Assassin's creed game, I had my doubts after Unity (which had some good idead but widely unexploited) but this one, oh my God, great characters, great storyline (the best to me) and some progress about what happens "today". Absolutely great.
Syndicate was probably the freshest AC game we had in a long time; I think it was the closest we were going to get to the franchise's original roots before Origins came along.
I really like Syndicate, more than Unity. Its just different from classic AC. Some players hate it because of lack of parkour, but ropegun was also fun to use.
I just played this game quite recently for the first time and I gotta say.. it was fucking good My only complaint would probably be the fact that some of my favorite weapons were some of the weakest weapons. I don’t like how exotic the stronger weapons looked. It didn’t really matter after I got the Legendary Assassin Gauntlet, got all the skills and did all the perks though. After that all my stats were pretty high up. But other than that minor thing I can’t find a thing wrong with this game. The only thing that would make this game perfect is if they added a New Game Plus feature I would personally rank Syndicate up there with AC2, AC3 and AC Origins I mean this game perfected the set up for an Assassination mission.. those unique kills were just beautiful, and I’d say they damn near perfected the “2 protagonists” feature. And I won’t even mention how the WW1 sequence felt like a whole new game. And on top of that a DLC featuring Jack the Ripper.. I really can’t sing enough praise for this game. I only wish we got another game featuring the Frye twins. Ubisoft really went downhill after this game. I know i said Origins was one of my favorites but you could even see the decline in that game It’s just because they chose quantity over quality. And because of their need to shift these games into a RPG
AC games have always been good, and their soundtracks usually follow suit. I haven't enjoyed the atmosphere and the feels given by a game since AC 2 and jesper kyd's "dreams of venice" melodies. I have loved AC syndicate through and through, although it takes a certain person to actually admire the detail in VIctorian London and the accuracy of locations and environment. I feel a lot of people hated it due to how modern the time period was, on the contrary I found it a very player friendly game, far from what AC Unity was. Well done and looking forward to AC origins.
They adopted it recently, and this song was probably meant to resemble the Victorian era. Besides, although it is the official system, imperial has remained fairly present, although to a much, much lesser extent than it previously was.

One Origins is origin to the creed, and two Odyssey is a piece of eden story, with quite a lot of piece of edens when you think about it
wtf Origins is one of the best AC there is
Origins was the last Real AC Odyssey to me was a great Greek Mythology RPG Thing but it was never an Assassins Creed to me
Chills
Hauntingly beautiful
Great song..
Good song for the ending. Kind of felt bad for Starrick. Loved him as a character. I understand their point of view.
I love this song so much
Lyrics
Take a look round lively old London
Buzzing crowds we sweat and we revel
Red-cheeked shouts and songs
In the flicker of the gaslight
Eager Blighty bursts from the cobblestones
Racing, climbing blooming fertility
Born from secret seeds
That were scattered in the nighttime
London is fed upon the meat of the dead
They're one shallow inch below the town
Underground
Underground
Leave them underground
Them that whispered dreams that only poisoned us
Them that told us lies of their bravery
Them that preached of progress, and put us in the poorhouse
Them done horrid murder on bloody stages
Them that loudly crowed their humility
Lords and dames that sung in the chapels on a Sunday
All quiet now
Their mouths are stopped up by mud
They lie flung in rags and make no sound
Underground
Underground
Leave them underground
Those who fought for something better
Those who taught by how they lived
Loved ones taken long before their work was done
Underground
Underground
Leave them underground
Underground
Underground
Leave them underground
Underground
Underground
Leave them underground
Underground
Underground
Leave them underground
