@@erenes8399 nahh as much as I like Origins (literally only game I actively dislike is Valhalla) they did butcher and strip down the parkour system and animations. While Syndicate wasn’t as robust as Unity, it still felt more like Assassins Creed than Origins

I actually skipped this one for many years and after trying Origins and not liking it as much I finally decided to get Syndicate and yeah you're right. It's the last one that felt like the old games. Same with Black OPs II in 2012

Am I the only one who thinks this was actually a really good ac game? I really enjoyed playing it. The change of scenery was refreshing, the soundtrack was amazing and the characters were fun. I understand Unity was one of the reasons this didn't sell well but this felt like a huge improvement. I dunno. Maybe it's just me

Completly agree. Frye twins, especially Jacob is such a freaking anti-hero/great character to play - like "dont think, act" theme is such a cool thing to refresh whole series when even ac4/3/rouge characters had their own "assassin/templair" code to follow. He just used his instinct to make moves and(overall) he's so awesome.

I avoided AC syndicate due to "certain reviews"... A few weeks ago, I decided to give it a try... Needless to say, I'm done with reviews... AC syndicate is a masterpiece!!!
unity too, its actually my best assassins creed game yet (in term of gameplay), i recommend that you give it a shot.
I wouldn't call it the best in terms of gameplay, but it does have fun setting and characters. My favourite actually, colorful and vibrant.

It's a decent game but to much fantasy/rpg style and it does an average job at that. Nowhere near the depth of the elder Scrolls series.

why people keep putting syndicate as their least favorite assassin's creed series? all aspect in this game are amazing, how you can play as both evie and jacob; those famous characters like charles darwin, charles dickens, queen victoria etc; and and all those side mission is worth to be played. indeed their combat battle is kinda easy but same goes to assassin's creed 3, black flag, and rogue so what's the point?
Because Assassin’s Creed has the worst, whiniest fanbase. It’s been the same ever since AC2 brought in all the casuals who don’t get clever writing like in AC3 and Unity.

Got the game already. It was so worth it especially the price now is much cheaper. Great graphics and I loved the fast paced brutal combat ^^ Not to mention the looks of old london. \m/
Been playing the game everyday now. So many side missions which makes it so fun that I haven't progressed much on the main story missions lol! I think I'm gonna buy the season pass soon. ^^
Just finished it with the DLC, it is one of the best AC Games. Cinematic Story telling + cinematic missions, no grinding, good Gameplay, funny Characters, smooth free roam climing + super cool zippline gadget, many stealthy options, many different finisher moves + 4 finisher at once (i love it). I realy Hope that AC Vallhala is gone be more like this AC and Unity and i would love to see actuall Gameplay from Vallhala.

I have still yet to encounter a situation in this game where I'm running away from enemy's and a train just happens to pass by, and I jump on it to escape. I WANT IT TO HAPPEN SO BADLY SO I CAN FEEL LIKE A TOTAL BADASS!!!

Okay... but, can people STOP leaving such hateful comments, calling it a shit game? It's not even out yet. I'm so fed up with seeing all this hate. Some of you are just blatantly saying to just stop making AC games.
Who gave you the right to say such a thing? How about showing some fucking respect towards this company? Alright I'll be honest, they're no Nintendo, but they're still pretty damn good. The AC franchise, as a whole, in my opinion, is good. Sure there are a few games that people weren't happy with (mostly Unity I believe, though I have still yet to play that), but the games aren't terrible.
I have so much love for AC after becoming a fan last year, and have played my way up to (currently) Rogue, and probably 85% of the time, I've had a really good time playing them! I also love the story.
In all, I loved the trailer, and I can't wait to play it.

Actually i think the game looks pretty good. But ofc it won't look like in the trailer... otherwise NASA would have troubles running it at 60 fps.
U do realize that you need a 1080 graphics card to run this type of game in such a map with that quality on at most 30 fps
My favourite of the series. This must have early because Jacob was very different in the final game
I don't think he's different in the final game, only thing that's different is his accent. But thank god for that! I'm from the same area as Jacob, but slightly closer to London in my case. Jacob's accent in the game is fine, but in the trailer he sounds like he's trying to hard! Haha. Still think Jacob's underrated and a great main protagonist tho!

It's about hand to hand combat, stealth, with limited, primal ranged weaponry such as throwing knifes, bows, and one shot guns. I really hate the idea of AC having the feel of a new red dead redemption( even though that game is awesome as fuck).

I'm really disappointed in where the series are going.. Ubisoft completely forgot about the 3 tennets of the Creed..
1) Keep your blade from the flesh of an innocent: Ok. This is what they respected.
2) Hide in plain sight: This is where they f*cked up. Take AC 3 or unity as an example, they simply enter a war and fight with brute force. Like how Connor fought off an army of redcoats in plain sight or how Arno just casually battled guards and barely blended in crowds to strike. Or how in this trailer Jacob just went for a pursuit instead of being stealthy.
3) Never compromise the brotherhood: How Connor spoke up against Achilles or just joined the brotherhood for his own benefits to find Charles Lee or how Arno couldnt care less about the creed...
I used to feel good when playing as Altair, Ezio or even Edward tbh. But now the assassins in the franchise are just straight up rascals. Like everyone knows how badass Altair was and how respected he was in the Brotherhood. And when the title 'Master Assassin' actually meant something.

well to be correct the "Rooks" actually just a street gang run by Jacob, so they aren't really a brotherhood tho. The brotherhood would be count if the members of the gang were actually assassin, so your third opinion i would say I disagree. Rooks is more like a bunch of mercenary imo
Firstly you're dead wrong! The assassins were at times stealthy! And Connor joined the brotherhood not because of his benefits but for the freedom of his people! You need to do research before you write bullshit

He joined the creed maybe not for his own benefits but for his people. I'm super excited for this game. But I'm curious what settings and time periods do you guys want in AC game? Personally I want the next 3 games to follow the chronicles characters, Shao Jun, Arbaaz Mir, and Nikolai Orelov. That would mean China, India, and Russia, all 3 are amazing locations and would make fantastic AC games. China with Shao Jun (2016), India with Arbaaz Mir (2017), and Russia with Nikolai Orelov (2018). What do you guys think?
